“A hotel that felt like home.”
Reviewed 29 January 2014

The main reason for the overall "very good" rating is their customer service. This is an older Hampton Inn and the rooms could use a facelift and some maintenance touch-ups in the bathrooms. If it's customer service you are looking for you certainly will get their undivided attention, especially Claudia at the front desk. She is a gem amongst front desk staff! The pillows in the room were a little hard as was the bed. This hotel is kind of out of the way from other hotels and restaurants. It seems like it is more in housing neighborhood that has a railroad track across the road. The trains can be heard inside your room - not bad, but you can hear them. All in all, we would definitely stay here again if we go through Flagstaff again.

The hotel was easy to find. We checked in easy and quickly. We stayed here for a tournament with a team and not once did they get frustrated or annoyed with the kids. The staff was extremely accommodating and took care of our every need, especially Dawn at the front desk.

We stopped here because it was just short of the Grand Canyon and reasonably priced. A little bit out of the way but that made for a quiet night's sleep. Two Queen Bed room was a bit tight, but the friendly staff and typical Hampton breakfast provided a welcome respite after a long days drive.
After an early breakfast we headed up the road about an hour and a half and drove along the south rim access road. It was off season and luckily the snow storm happened the week before so the road was wide open and lightly traveled.

I have stayed in other accommodations in the area, I felt this hotel was not competitive. I have found better hotels for less money. The lobby is small to nonexistent, the rooms are small to average compared to others in the area. Train noise a minor issue at night.

This hotel has a convenient location near downtown Flagstaff. There are many restaurants in the surrounding area. About a 1 hour drive from Grand Canyon Village. Accomodations are good. We had a room with 2 queen beds and a separate living area with a double pull out sofa, good for a large group. The price was quite resonable considering the room, and a good breakfast was also included in addition to ample free parking.

This hotel was a great family hotel. I would also highly consider staying for business travel as well. The hotel is located in a quiet area, I had a great sleep. Room was very spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. Hampton also provides complimentary coffee in the lobby at all hours. The hotel does have free WiFi, which was very nice, as well as a business center. There is a gym which is great for cardio and it was open late as well as the indoor pool! The front desk staff was great, especially Aarin, he helped me find a family friendly restaurant as well as tourist attractions in Flagstaff and the surrounding area. I would highly recommend this hotel to any type of traveler!

Very friendly staff. Our room was clean and all the room extras were functioning well (refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker). We had a complimentary breakfast which had enough verity and hot coffee are complimentary 24 hours. We will be glad to visit again when in Flagstaff.
