We visited this campground with an RV group. They were accommodating in keeping us all together. There were 14 motor coaches. The entire place has gravel. We did not use any of the facilities. They do need to trim their trees a little higher. The branches drug the top of our 45 foot coach. The park is very close to all of the action in Medora..

The campground was a dust bowl with people driving too fast and kicking up yet more dust. We could not sit outside much less grill. Bathrooms were old and were not clean. WiFi at our site was good. Close to Theodore Roosevelt Nat'l Park. Not much available in the area. Stayed here first part of August in. Fifth Wheel.

I really enjoyed staying here. Friendly owner/staff. There's a $5 shower fee per use. Tent camp sites have a grill & sites were neat/kept. Very close to park entrance. Also has a small general store in the camp. Everything was just mildly over priced. Would def. stay again. There were cabins, 2&3 bedroom and rv sites available.

A campground with very cramped sites, we couldn't even put out a folding chair to sit on. Our neighbors had a slide out that almost hit the picnic table that we had flush against our trailer. WiFi is public and iffy and your neighbor's sewer connection is about a foot from the outside grill-ewww! That being said, this campground is very close to the entrance of Theodore Roosevelt NP, the Medora Musical(has shuttle service), and the quaint, lovely town of Medora. The staff is friendly, price is right and restrooms clean. So, if you are like us, using this as a base for all-day adventures, it is not a bad choice.

The management of the Medora Campground are its greatest asset. We found them very accommodating. They even gave us two tent sites for the price of one. However, a few low cost investments to the bathroom are needed. The bathrooms lacked countertops, shelving, hooks, and a high level of cleanliness. Campers, tent trailers, and tents were on top of each other. The pool, with a fee of $4.00, said it closed at 8:00 but was closed at 7:30. In sum, it's a good place to spend one night on your way to somewhere else.
