Stayed here for an overnight get-away. Despite not being able to get into our room promptly at arrival, the rest of the stay was good. Great breakfast!

We recently held an event at this property and in some ways you expect staff at a hotel to be helpful. The staff at the Embassy Suites went so far above and beyond it was extraordinary. We check into the event center and the internet was not quite what we needed and then got a vendor out the same day to beef it up. They were constantly checking how they could help. Management facilitated early checkins.

Now onto the hotel. The rooms are huge and very functional. The food in the hotel restaurant was good and the breakfast was excellent.

Great hotel, great staff.

Room Tip: The corner high room suites are very spacious with two TV's and plenty of place to meet and work...

Great place...little expensive, but worth the money. Some of the foods at the manager's reception were on the stale side, but most people go for the free booze. Good breakfast. Great bed. Great pillows. Clean washrooms. Large suites. Quiet. Valet parking...Hotel was a little awkward to find. Spacious. Professional staff.

Room Tip: Higher floors better...but you might have to pay extra.

On the morning of my arrival, I got a phone call and was told I was being placed in a Holiday Inn. I was with a large group and placed my reservation two months in advance. They said there was nothing they could do and that I could have a free stay next time I was in town. No one else from my group was moved.

We stayed on the 5th floor, and I don't know if our room was situated near an elevator shaft, but there was a repetitive, CONSTANT metal clanging noise "coming from the walls", which made it extremely difficult for me to fall asleep. I recommend this hotel - just listen quietly and carefully before you unpack everything to make sure your room is not near the source of this disruptive noise.

Room Tip: avoid rooms near elevator shaft
