“Military Fun”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 March 2014

This is a fantastic place to visit. Make sure you allot about 3-4 hours when visiting, because it is very informative and entertaining. Going through the ships and sub was fantastic. Tall people should be careful in the sub. The doors are really small.

“Great place to visit”

This is a great place to visit ships and a submarine and see the history of the era these ships were part of.

“Decent, but some things to watch out for”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 February 2014

It was very interesting seeing all the ships. It was pretty cool to look at the cannon, where they slept, things like that. However, there are a few things to take into consideration especially with younger children.
The stairs you go up can get very steep. Be prepared to have to carry your child or help them up, because the ships mostly aren't real stroller friendly.
It can also get very hot, especially in the summer. don't dress in layers! Bring water, just in case. If your children start to get too hot, I would go back.

“Lake Effect Snow”

True Lake Effect snow does hit the Buffalo Area but the Niagara Falls and Buffalo public parks are stellar!

“Didn't get to see”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 December 2013

It had snowed, and we found a good parking space, walked up to the front door, and it was locked!! Closed either for the season (winter), or only opened on certain days. I'm a Navy girl, and wish I could have steapped foot on The Sullivan's, as we hear about this boat all of the time. I've never been on a submarine, and would have like to go onboard and check it out. Since I will not be returning to this area, it was a disappointment, but I'm glad I at least got to see it.
