The Lofts on Pearl certainly lived up to the rave reviews on tripadvisor. It was spacious, clean and well appointed. I would absolutely stay here again but I would ask about the following:

The bedroom and bathroom doors needed to be oiled. They squeaked and squealed each time they were opened and closed. Unfortunately, we didn't notice until the middle of the night when anyone got up to use the bathroom. I informed the front desk the next morning, hopefully a bit of DW40 will be applied to the doors in room 304.

There is a bar restaurant next door that we didn't have time to frequent during our visit that had a live band playing. The band played until 1245am with very few breaks. The front desk clerk said it was the first night and that had never happened before. I'm glad my stay was pleasure and not business, I would not have been very well rested. It was a Sunday night.

Stayed here for a business/pleasure trip to Buffalo. Great hotel with full kitchen and two bedroom suites. Independently owner and operated, friendly staff, great breakfast option included in rate. This was an old factory turned into apartments then into a hotel. High ceilings, exposed brick, easy parking and excellent value. If you are ever in Buffalo looking for a place to stay this is it! And there's a brewpub right next door, even better!

Room Tip: Breakfast is included and you can buy up from the continental option and get an outstanding hot meal...

We loved this place. Our room was pristine, very roomy, and of modern design. Quite beautiful, really, with nice views of the waterfront area. It featured two bedrooms, a big kitchen, and a sitting room with a good size flat screen TV. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was great, and went out of their way to be helpful. Discount at the brew pub next door, and free continental breakfast or a $5 cut on the full meal. On the downside, there were no plates or utensils in the kitchen, so it was a little difficult to make use of this fine amenity. Parking is expensive - $20 a night - but the bus terminal is a couple of blocks away, where you can park $7 for 24 hours. Book this hotel online. You'll get a better price than calling the hotel directly.

Stayed in Lofts on Pearl on route to the Canadian Niagara Falls. Unfortunately it was only for one night. It's refreshingly different to most hotels. The living area is furnished quite minimalistic so it may nor be to everyone's taste, but we loved it. Lovely high ceilings, very clean and very comfortable. In fact my daughter described it as her dream apartment and wants to live there. Live there you could since it had loads of space (2 bedrooms, bathroom, living area and an extensive kitchen). Patrick was extremely helpful. Added bonus was free Wi-Fi (bigger, more expensive hotels please learn from that) . Breakfast is in a great deli café two doors down. Either free continental breakfast or a $5 voucher towards the cost of anything on the breakfast menu. We went for eggs, toast, bacon (generous portions) and coffee and didn't quite spend the $5!

Didn't have time to explore Buffalo so hard to comment on location, but it is there is a popular brewery and restaurant within a 30 second walk.

Looking for something a bit different to your normal hotel, this is definitely a great choice. Would return again but next time for longer so we could better enjoy what this hotel offers.

The suite was huge--a big kitchen, two bedrooms, a sitting room, plenty of closets and windows. The décor is amazing, granite, stainless and real wood floors work together. Full size fridge, in full size, stocked kitchen.

A continental breakfast is included at a nearby restaurant but that is owned the same company.

Minor negative it was $20 extra for parking. But over all best hotel I have stayed in for a long time. And as another reviewer states, I wish I owned this loft.
