Lenox grill is the latest incarnation of this basement space of this old hotel. Operated by the owner and chef of the former Prime 490. Trying a late nite kitchen to compete with Mothers.....open till 3am. Space is renovated....new windows and fireplace lighten up the interior considerably. Recent trip for Sunday brunch found tasty bloodys in a pint glass for a reasonable $5 and a bottomless mimosa special. Food is not breaking any culinary boundries, but serviceable crabcake and country fried steak, both from the benedict menu were fine.....homefries were cold. Good service...kept the coffee coming. Crowd mostly younger, bar fairly full with patrons watching March madness b ball.
