Description: In 1984, Buffalo developer Paul L. Snyder, Sr. established the top-performing, independently owned steak restaurant in Buffalo, NY. E.B. Green's was created in the tradition of the great American steakhouse - and we've been cultivating our luxurious, cozy aesthetic every day since. Named for renowned New York architect E.B. Green, our Buffalo NY steakhouse has garnered recognition from well-known critics and adventurous diners alike. On our menu, you'll find that our classic dishes aim to complement our high-quality steak and seafood. Start your evening with hand-crafted cocktails from our lounge - we're known for our martinis and our generous wine pours. All of our side dishes are designed to enhance our favorite part of the meal: the meat. E. B. Green's is proud to offer some of the best steak Buffalo NY has to offer. We exclusively source Midwest grain-fed USDA Prime and Choice cuts of beef, which we hand-cut each day. If you're a real gourmand, try our signature Porterhouse steak - it's a meal worth traveling for. We also fly in our seafood and lobster each day to ensure that our food as fresh as possible. Our other mainstays include our bone-in rib eye, rack of lamb, and cold water lobster. Whether you prefer surf or turf, E. B. Green's has something to suit every discerning palate. For the best Steakhouse in Buffalo, NY, come over to EB Green's!

Maybe they should not put a sign in the entryway proclaiming their high ranking, as it raises expectations. This is an OK steakhouse but nothing about it screamed great. We were told it is the "go out for a special dinner" place. I guess for those folks, who do not have to eat in restaurants because they are traveling, or those who rarely eat in restaurants, this is a nice place. But otherwise, yeah, it was ok.
I was with a group. We had various steaks, chicken, and seafood. Long wait to be served. They said it was the chicken that held us all up. Did they have to go chase one down? It was a weeknight and not that crowded so it apparently was killed and cooked to order. The steaks were not great. I was really disappointed. Mine seemed like it had been microwaved...no real grill or even broiler feel to it. In fact, it was kind of mushy. But not bad enough to make a deal about it.
Salads were good. Monkey bread was popular. Service was good.

I met some colleagues for a late-ish dinner. The staff was professional, polite and knowledgeable. We ended up ordering a bunch of appetizers rather than a meal because it was late. The food was excellent as was the wine. Someday I will go back for a steak.

i'm sure the establishment is THE steak establishment in buffalo, but it felt a bit lacking. it's part of the hotel i stayed at and we decided to continue our business meeting there. the room is dimly lit and a bit small. it got packed real quickly. the service was prompt, polite and professional, but not that friendly. the food was...well it probably is the best steakhouse in buffalo.

Our dinner the first night was part of a hotel package, but we went back the second night. Menu offered a decent variety of food and not only steak; food well prepared; service professional but friendly. The bar made a very decent Manhattan! Good wine list, albeit slightly on the pricey side.

It was our first time in Buffalo and we choose this restaurant by recommendations from friends. We had a commencement celebration for 12 people in our party and the restaurant gladly accomodated us. Our servers were very efficient, took our orders, and stopped by often -without overbearing- to make sure everything was going well.
Our salads were superb, my scallops were excellent, and everyone enjoyed their meals.
The setting is intimate, tables are placed close together, but still no one overhears other tables' conversations. The setting and lightining was intimate and we were very pleased with our choice of this restaurant.
