Beautiful new location. Maybe nicest CY I have ever stayed in. Arrived late and staff was friendly. Upgraded to a spacious room with all of the latest updates you could imagine. Highly recommend this downtown Buffalo Hotel. Very large lobby area topped it all. Well done Marriott

Stayed here at the end of July. The hotel is brand new. Rooms were spotless, big and comfortable with interesting furnishings and layout. The hotel had a small snack bar and vending type food. The included wifi was fast and easy to log onto. The surrounding area is undergoing considerable redevelopment. Some roads around the hotel were closed but we were able to maneuver around them fairly easily. It is convenient to downtown, Lake Erie and the First Niagara Center. The Buffalo light rail is steps from the front door. The pool and fitness center are above what you would expect for a Courtyard. When the Erie Canal restoration and other building construction is complete, this will be a very desirable location.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that doesn't overlook the train tracks.

We are just leaving a two night stay at theCourtyard. My daughter and I were in downtown Buffalo for a three day swim meet. The building is brand new and sparkling! We stayed in a king suite, which was a spacious and comfortable room. The bed and pillows were heavenly. Our room had a view of the canal, but this area of Buffalo is going through a lot of construction, so we had a view of that as well. Oh well! The staff was attentive and helpful throughout our stay. We walked to two casual, but delicious restaurants at their suggestion. One was Pearl Street Grill and the other was Liberty Hound. The staff allowed us a late checkout, due to my daughter's swim schedule, and we were quite appreciative. If in downtown Buffalo again, I will definitely return!

Spent the night here last Saturday and was very impressed. Brand new property - looks like the just took the labels off of everything. Rooms were spacious and clearly designed for the modern traveler. Outlets and charging portals were everywhere. Awesome glass-enclosed walk-in showers with rain shower heads. Very nice. Public areas were great. Lobby was wonderful, and the fire pit out front was amazing. There were concerts going on at the nearby concert venue and you could hear everything just find from out in front of the hotel. No noise inside however if you're not into live music. Beautiful fountain out front as well. This area of town appears to be going through a re-birth and this hotel promises to be a key player. Bistro in the hotel lobby was convenient, but expensive. Plenty of other cheaper places nearby to eat and drink. Bottom line - if you're in this part of Buffalo, don't hesitate to stay here.

We spent a night to see Kerfuffle. We could see the concert from our room, which was awesome, the room was beautiful & the staff was very accommodating. My gripe? No room service! We didn't want to go "out" to dinner after a 7-hour drive & a concert..plus suffering from rheumatoid arthritis, I was ready to call it a night. The hotel has only vending machine-style snacks & drinks in the lobby after 10. Fortunately there was an excellent pizzeria that delivered (La Nova Pizza..awesome).

Good morning, Jen W, and thank you so much for your review of our hotel! We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay, a stone’s throw away from Kerfuffle! We are fortunate to be at such a good location where guests can easily walk to many attractions and special events in downtown Buffalo and Canalside. Our on-site Bistro is open for dinner from 5 until 10:00 PM, where we serve a variety of sandwiches, soups, salads, and more. We apologize that the hours were not conducive to your schedule, and that the option for room service is not available. However, we are happy that you were able to utilize food service delivery from a great local pizzeria! Our front desk staff can provide guests with loads of options for food in Buffalo, so please do not hesitate to contact them for assistance. Thank you so much for your business. We hope to see you again soon!
