“Never going back”

Stay away.
Bathroom walls were tearing off,
the corner of the walls above the bathtub had wall fungus.
we had two double-beds, but only one bed seemed to be made (one bed was missing two pillows).
we've booked online and paid the full price prior to our stay,
but my statement shows that the hotel has charged us again.
we were double charged! be aware, and make sure this doesn't happen to you.
Overall, we had a horrible experience and will definitely stay away from Adams Mark in the future.

We stayed here one night while with a tour group. Our room was clean, comfortable, and we had free wifi in the room. No free breakfast. The hotel bar area was very nice & the bartender was very chatty. We like to try new local beers when we travel and they had a good selection that we hadn't had before (though the prices seemed a little steep, $7/bottle). All the staff we met were very pleasant & friendly.

Stayed for a night on a business trip. This place is great. Comfortable and clean. Nice indoor pool, too. The restaurant is pleasant and there is plenty of social space. The only problem I had was finding my way around in a maze of crazy traffic patterns.

Line at check-in was long but moved quickly. We were offered bottled water while waiting in the line. Light in entrance to room was not working. We called to notify. Light bulb wasn't replaced until next day although we were told that someone would be there shortly. Beds comfortable. Rooms were quiet for sleeping. Swimming pool area was clean and well kept. Breakfast buffet - great- we were offered half buffet of cold items at reasonable cost. Food was good and service prompt.

Hotel was full with hockey fans and our conference. Overall very satisfied with service.

Green Features: Recycling containers near elevators. Surprised that they didn't offer or suggest that we use towels again. Some hotels offer a small discount or reward if this is done.

It has become a tradition to stay at Adam's Mark hotel in Buffalo when we visit Niagara falls. This autumn we stayed on 22nd October - one of the last days when we can get a Maid of the Mist tour. We plan again to stay there on 21st November this year. I can say that this hotel is constantly improving its quality services. I was pleasantly surprised this time by newly renovated rooms with big flat TVs.And without price increase! The staff is friendly and helping organise transportation from the airport to the hotel and to Niagara falls. I strongly recommend this hotel!

My rating takes into account the excellent value for money, despite some issues.

The hotel offered a rate of $125 per night, which was very reasonable for both the central location and the size and comfort of the bedroom.

The room was to a very high standard, with an excellent bed, nice linens and new, quality furnishings. I am VERY surprised to hear rooms described as 'very outdated' and 'smelly', as ours was very clean and clearly newly renovated. However, there were some problems, primarily with the bathroom. The shower was leaking and the tap had a very sharp broken corner. A little more attention to detail would have made this a 5* room at the price-point.

One of the easiest areas for the hotel to fix would be to ensure that staff wear uniforms at all times. The man in a camouflage jacket loitering in the entrance hall was, in fact, a very friendly member of maintenance, but his initial appearance was slightly worrying.

The evening bar food was mediocre, at best, which was surprising given the high quality of both the breakfast and lunch. Another area where more focus would pay huge dividends is the breakfast tables. Thanks to very loud televisions above the bar this feels like an overspill from the sports bar next door, rather than a comfortable place to relax and enjoy.

The gym is large and well equipped. However, the hotel has no robes and the changing area is very limited, with no lockers or cubicles. The pool needs deep cleaning and redecorating, but is warm with a pleasing area of sun loungers adjacent.

If the hotel can achieve the standards of the rooms throughout, this would be an excellent hotel. As it stands, it is a mixed experience.

Room Tip: I would suggest asking if the room is newly renovated, as I assume, based on other reviews, not all...

Horrible staff. Nasty rooms, bad breakfast, fake eggs. Not safe area at night. Vending machine products are expired.
Stay someplace else. Rooms are very out dated and smell of smoke and urine. Wall paper peeling off the wall.

We are surprised to hear about some of your guestroom comments as our facility has recently been renovated with all guestrooms getting new carpet, wall covering, and furniture. Each of our guestrooms are cleaned and then inspected before being released for sale. Odors from the previous guest (if any) are caught by these inspectors and efforts would have been made to take care of this. But we will look into your specific concerns and rectify them. Please feel assured your next stay with us will be better.
