We had a change of plans and called 5 days prior to check-in to try to change our reservation. We were staying a week, and tried to cancel just the first night. We were told we could not change the reservation because it was not MORE than 5 days (even though the website says "at least 5 days.") Then, when we arrived, we discovered there is no elevator and no staff on hand to carry up luggage, although a young lady carried up a bag to our room upon request. The room is clean except for some cobwebs and chipped paint, etc. The bathroom has European-style shower with exposed, unfrosted, half-glass door and there is limited counter space. There is no coat rack or closet on the main floor of the suite, and ice is available only on request. I hope our first impressions improve over the course of our stay. Location is nice, and balcony overlooking the water and Pell Bridge is lovely.
