a nice quiet pub with a good beer selection and atmosphere. great music --not to loud and they had Wells Banana bread ale (yipee). good burgers, excellent fries, good lobsta roll, and good cocktails . prices very good for Newport. Next to the Wyndham long wharf and the Marriott hotel spa

“Great Time”
Reviewed 10 August 2012

We started our military night of 4 off at Celtica because of the keroka night. It was great and great Keroka action. I love the Elvis guy. 1st time and I felt like family. A mix of locals and tourest who like to drink and party. one of the female bar keeps was not that freindly and seemed tired but had a great night and the food was the best value and singing. Love it! Wish they had goldsluger, only yagger.

“Comfortable pub, off the beaten track”
Reviewed 29 May 2012 via mobile

When staying at the Long Wharf, we always stop for a Guinness or Smithys at the Celtica. It's got a real pub feel, and they make a mean pepperoni pizza for only $9 to complement the drinks. It's an island of serenity amid the bustle of Thames St.
