had a late lunch at Diego's this week. The shredded pork spring rolls and spicy guacomole were great. The nachos with chicken (can't remember the name) were good. The creme on them was a little heavier than I antipcated (thought it would be more of a sauce).

Had to pay $5 for chips and salsa. Never been to a mexican restaurant where you didn't these for free!

we ate outside. atmosphere was cool and the location was great right on Bowens Wharf.

Casual, open air, delicious, friendly staff and all around go back to over and over. Great guac, a super margarita and a flan to die for. All ages were enjoying the food.

Diego's is one of my favorite restaurants to go to. Not only do they have authentic Mexican cuisine, but they also have an incredible drink list. My favorite drink is the Santa Baya Margarita, which is similar to a typical margarita, but served with cinnamon. I also think their enchiladas are the best around. I have had the pulled pork enchiladas and the duck breast and they were the best I have ever had. Don't miss out on this little gem!

Service was great and the food was tasty. The price was lower than what the quality and quantity would suggest, which was great. Margaritas' were strong and flavorful. The staff was helpful with suggestions and recommendations.
This was is a definite must.

The patio is now open, and I recommend you sit out there. Market lights strewn all around, this casual spot is serving fresh Mexican cuisine with a modern twist. To start, we ordered the Braker’s Guac (made-to order guacamole served with freshly cooked tortilla chips with Salsa Fresca). This is the perfect starter, and the best part is, they refill your chips. The guac is rustically chopped up, fresh and flavorful. The salsa is really nice too, and the chips have a great crisp crunch.

To drink, I went with The Passion of Spice (El Buho Mezcal, fresh passion fruit puree, habanero infused tequila, house made sour and pineapple juice served on the rocks). This drink was pretty incredible. You’re hit with the heat from the habanero, and then get a little bit of the smokiness from the Mezcal, but then, to refresh and cool off the drink, is the sweetness from the pineapple. Really, really good.

For my entree, I ordered The Spicy Catch Salad (Blackened Cod over mixed greens with julienned veggies, ripe tomato, pineapple jicama salsa and pomegranate-chipotle vinaigrette). I really loved this salad. The ingredients were abundant, yet light, allowing you to eat healthy without leaving hungry. The fish was light, flaky, and full of flavor with a really nice spice. The dressing was really delicious too, adding some sweetness to the fresh dish.
