Tiny restaurant, arrive early if you want to have a table.
Orders are taken at the counter and brought at tour table, self serve for coffee.

Sandwiches and salad very fresh.prices are very reasonable.

Would suggest but not repeat.

Our party had 3 different sandwiches and a salad and all were excellent. The eggplant and fresh mozzarella was a favorite.
The restaurant is small; it maybe seats 12 and it can be warm inside. The first time we attempted to eat here it was 2:30 and they were out of bread so don't wait too late if you really want to eat here.

Cafe close time is 3pm. We got there at 2:45 after hitting traffic. They refused to serve us. Very disappointing and rude!

“Quaint and Charming”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 August 2014

Cute little place off the beaten path that you might never see if you weren't specifically looking for it. We went based on reviews. Got up early to make sure we didn't miss out. Not sure I would do that again. The stuffed breakfast croissants were sold out and they were baking another batch when we got there at 8:15 a.m. They said they had already gone through 100, so that says a lot. We decided to get a muffin and chocolate croissant while we waited, and they were both just ok. The muffin was actually better than the croissant in my opinion-a little dry, but warm and tasty nonetheless. Once the egg sandwiches were ready, we jumped on two egg, cheese and canadian bacon ones. Those were good too, but could have been filled a bit more. A lot of croissant, with not too much filling. They had 2 other flavors that we did not get to try, but that sounded yummy--one with spinach and one with leeks. A lady standing in line mentioned to us that she lives in Newport and has never had to wait in line...until now...because recent reviews recently bumped them up to the top of the list and now swarms of people are flocking there. The locals are not happy. lol
