A very rare opportunity to have to yourself a space dating from 1704 with all the privacy or whatever interaction you may want. A large sunny room with great views, queen size painted antique bed, very comfortable mattress and linens, two large chairs, vanity, dresser, cable tv, small fridge, dvd player, and your own bathroom in the next room. No one is above or below you, you are on second floor in the picture included. The space is very clean, comfortable, and furnished historically, and has a supreme location. Offstreet parking space. I loved it. Owner is an artist, helpful but not intrusive. Good for couples or solo traveler.
This looks out on beautiful Trinity Church, built 1726, in the center of colonial and revolutionary Newport. The old quarter of Newport is the top attraction there in my opinion and those who know about it. There are homes here dating from 1697, and large numbers of them are on your local walk around here and wonderfully preserved. I have never seen a larger district from this era. You are also very near Thames St, the Harbor, Bellevue Ave mansions., Touro St., etc. Since the district is not on top of the trip advisor list, here is a link for more info:
