Description: At Brick Alley Pub we have it all: "pub style" comfort food to modern multicultural cuisine all served with genuine down-home hospitality. Like America itself, Brick Alley is one big melting pot of ethnicities, flavors, and fun. If you are looking for stiff, over the top formal service with small portions of over-priced food, we are not that place. Located at 140 Thames Street across from the Brick Market Place in Downtown Newport the Brick Alley Pub & Restaurant offers a warm and cozy fireplace in the winter and comfortably air-conditioned dining rooms in the summer. The Brick Alley Pub & Restaurant specializes in a blend of flavorful steaks, fresh local seafood, pastas, and seasonal specials. This wine list features over 250 different vintages and has received the Wine Spectator Award for Excellence. Open for lunch and dinner, Brick Alley Pub & Restaurant accepts reservations and offers an upstairs function room that can accommodate up to 170 people. A must stop when in Newport. Thew salad bar is excellent and the variety of freshly prepared offerings is unmatched. Expect a wait and a crowd but also prompt friendly service.

This is not your typical "pub". The food selections are endless and the drinks are well made. We often visit newport and this is a staple each and every time. Their clam app is awesome and no matter what you order, you'll be happy!

Daughters steak was over cooked and we didn't have time for them to cook another one so they didn't charge us...we didn't even have to ask. That's great customer service.

Everything else was perfect. Nice laid back atmosphere.

The Brick Alley Pub has something special for everyone. Probably the best salad bar in Newport, along with a robust menu that will leave you wanting to come back for the items you did not order. Fantastic nachos too! But what I think separates the Brick Alley from most restaurants is their service/servers. You walk in as a stranger and leave feeling like family. I love the place!

Just look for the bright yellow awning on Thames St, you can't miss. I am always Leary of restaurants with huge menus but this restaurant delivers. Excellent value, very generous portions, extensive menu and very good food. Everything was served really hot too. It is good for groups of friends, families, adults young and old. Fun atmosphere, nice bar you can eat in as well.
