“Overpriced and over-loud”
Reviewed 12 June 2014

I did enjoy the 80s mix the DJ played, but the volume was too overwhelming. Everything here was just overpriced and mediocre. Really, the only thing the place has going for it is the location on the water.

“Great food, great service”
Reviewed 2 June 2014

We had a fantastic meal on Saturday night! The lobster stuffie is to die for. They had a special pork osso bucco that was also fantastic. Fra diablo pasta was great. The pesto served with the piping hot fresh bread was delicious. We had our grandaughter with us and they were very accomodating (six of us in total). The waitress was absolutely wonderful. Everyone loved their meals. Great experience.

“Promising, but terrible service”
Reviewed 27 May 2014

My friends and I really were hopeful that we would enjoy a nice lunch @The Deck. Unfortunately we were sorely disappointed. We were seated under the tent with a nice view of the water on a not-too-busy lunchtime this Memorial day Sunday (we were there for a somewhat late lunch). After about 20 minutes of watching the person we thought was our server (i.e. she was waiting on other tables, making eye contact with us, but never coming over) we asked (TWICE) who our server was as we were ready to order. She finally came over and seemed apologetic claiming she didn't see us being seated (ummm...ok, even though you walked past us about 20 times?). It took us almost a full hour to finally get food (I think it was around 3pm by that time). I'm not sure what the holdup was but many other tables seemed to similarly be "waiting" for things. Food and drinks were fine but our experience had already been tarnished by then. @The Deck: you need to pick up your game if you want to uphold any sort of reputation in a popular tourist town during probably one of your most important weekends.

“Great food and drinks”

The steak frites were some of the best that I have had on the island. The drinks are also top notch.

“Delicious Food”

I love watching chefs prepare delicious food. The Deck has that to offer. It is a bit pricey but it is great food and the staff are all amazing.
