We recently spend our anniversay at the Blue Jewel, one of the properties owned by the Newport Blues Inns. We have stayed at all 3 properties and never once have we been dissapointed. This time we were offered a room at the Blue Jewel, once we got there we received an upgrade, to say I felt spoiled is an understatement. The room was beautifuly decorated and had that old word charm, you could imagine what it was like to be wealthy in Victorian era. As always the staff was went out their way to make our stay special. We have stayed at many of the B&B's in Newport, but we keep going back to the one of these properties, service, cleaniness , location and value can not be beat. Looking forward to returning in the summer.

GREAT B&B.!! Went with my fiance' for a winter weekend getaway to the wineries. Had a reservation at the Newport Blues Inn. When we arrived for check in was upgraded to a room at the Black Duck INN as well as given free passes to the show at the Newport Blues cafe which we planned on attending that evening. Room at the Black Duck? WOW
Breakfast the next morning? WOW Will be back! Staff and owners are all GREAT!!!! My fiance' was like.............WOW....I LOVE IT!!!!!

My friends and I have been enjoying our yearly girls weekend at the Newport Blues Inn for 4years! We even thought about trying a different area all together but ultimately we decided that we simply must go back and always to the Newport Blues Inn. We always stay in the Easton room as it has two queen sized beds, and let me say they are comfortable!! The room is always kept clean and towels are restocked daily. The room comes with a little fridge to keep sodas and water cold. There is plenty of room to put your clothes as well as toiletries. Newport Blues has a lovely porch in which you can relax and read a book or just do some people watching. The back area has a little patio where you can enjoy your breakfast or a glass of wine. One of our favorite things about Newport Blues Inn is that they serve a full hot breakfast every morning! You never know what you are going to get, an omelet, pancakes, or waffles, but you can always guarantee it will be delicious! It is located close enough to the restaurants and shops on Thames St. but it is still removed enough that it is quiet and peaceful when you need to relax. I would recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone and we gladly return every year!

Outstanding B&B. one of my favorites, together with Black Duck Inn (part of the same group, i think). Rooms are incredible, service is amazing, top-notch in every respect. convenient to just about everyplace in NPT - park and walk. breakfast in the morning is delicious and there's always a variety to satisfy everyone's appetite. have been there several times and will stay again when i return.

The hosts were wonderful and had many great dinner recommendations. The Inn is average, breakfast was average, room was nice, but small. Great location if you want to walk to Thames Street.
