We will remember the Architects Inn for a number of reasons. The beautiful bedroom with the comfiest bed ever & the gourmet breakfast. It is set in a quiet leafy road & yet only a mere 10minutes or so from shopping ,restaurants & a great cliff walk. Above all we will remember Nick the Innkeeper for his friendliness & obvious love of his town of which he has a great knowledge which he is very willing to impart. We stayed longer than we intended & wish it could have been longer still. Thank you Nick.

We enjoyed a great 3 days in Newport and loved our time at the Inn. Nick and Brian very welcoming. Beautifully decorated rooms and yet very homely atmosphere. The breakafsts were superb (and huge) and loved nick's informative chats .. would thoroughly recommend it to anyone passing though or planning a stay in Newport

If we could have stayed longer...well, we would have. We have never stayed at a B&B before and were very impressed with Architect's Inn. We were greeted by Nick when we got there and he gave us a lot of information about the Inn as well as the town. Nick is a gracious, friendly, and knowledgeable host. He also makes a great breakfast! Our room was spacious and the bed one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The location was good, close enough to walk most everywhere but set back far enough to feel quiet and peaceful. On our last morning we were talking about when we could come back!

My husband and I stayed at the B&B as a birthday gift to my husband. Nick and Brian were wonderful and the room was really nice. We stayed in the Belmont room it was really gorgeous and the bed was soo comfortable I am going to do my best to purchase one just like it. I definitely recommend this place and would love to try the murder mystery weekend as it sounded unbelievabl.e

My wife and I stayed one night on our way to Boston for Easter with family. We chose this B and B off of their website and it was a very good choice. The owners are friendly, helpful and very good at running their business. Nick greeted us upon arrival, gave us a tour of the building and spent as much time with us as we needed to prepare for our first visit to Newport. He even gave us a wonderful tip on a local restaurant that had a great Thursday night special. Breakfast was not included in our rate so I can't comment on that but the room was very nice, very clean with good towels, lots of hot water and perfect furnishings. The information booklet for guests is packed with information, well written, very descriptive of a multitude of dining options. It is located in a quiet residential area, no street or traffic noise, about a 10 minute walk to the central tourist area. All in all, a wonderful B and B which I would recommend to anyone.

What a wonderful place this is! The rooms are clean and each one has it's own charm. We loved how accessible and knowledgeable Nick and Brian are. They truly know Newport inside and out. We walked everywhere since the Inn is close to everything but is still located on a quiet street for when you need a break. Although it is only a few blocks away, you're not stuck in the loud, noisy downtown area. It was great putting a fire on at night and relaxing after sightseeing all day. Very romantic.

My wife and I stayed with Brian this weekend as a belated anniversary. We entered the standard program and were very happy with our choice. we received a beautiful room with fireplace and private bath. Breakfast was great. The atmosphere is perfect for a quiet getaway. We want to come back for the Murder Mystery after hearing all the stories at breakfast. We went to the Black Pearl for dinner and had great clam chowder but they didn't seem to be too friendly.
