“shopping in paradise”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 September 2013

I grew up in Honolulu and have loved Ala Moana Ctr ever since (from back in the McGarrett 5-0 days!), and even though it's now evolved into a huge upscale behemoth of global designer box stores, it's still a lovely place to "hang". There are great bargains if you're lucky enough to be on island during big sale weeks, and all sorts of eats for every price range.

The mall is huge and the shiroki japanese department store is a must visit. Ever if u a not a shopper, it is worth to go see it. U must eat at shiroki food court on 3 rd floor.

“Shops aplenty with great bargains”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 September 2013 via mobile

Went to alamo on recommendation of a friend. Found some great bargains especially at macys where there were great savings & an extra 10% off coucher for being a tourist. Kids clothing stores great value as well.

“Huge”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 September 2013

This mall is enormous. The food court has some really good options if you are wanting to avoid another overpriced sit down restaurant. Grab a salad, smoothie, and muffin and was down to the water to eat and enjoy the sites after hitting the shops with shopping determination.
One thing:there are basically zero sales on at this mall. So don't expect to get stuff for cheap.

“Huge mall, expect to spend a lot”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 September 2013

This is a beautiful and huge shopping center with all the top brands. It's not cheap though, expect to spend a lot of money here. I loved the Japanese section of the mall, it was great to see all the various Japanese products on display. There is a great little used book store there where I picked up some good bargains. It's also great just to walk around, I had fun and I'm not usually a fan of malls or shopping.
