“Good selection but sloppy”
Reviewed 8 July 2012

This place has good selection of Asian foods but is so opposite of hygenic. Merchandise is poorly displayed and there are better places to get groceries. Yuck!

“Well stocked supermarket with emphasis on products from Asia and Japan good prices.”
Reviewed 6 July 2012

This supermarket is open 24 hours a day, has an amazing selection of fresh produce and groceries at good prices.
Huge Japanese section for food items and their kitchen utensils, plus other Asian foodstuffs.
The best place to buy top sirloin steak for the BBQ at reasonable prices.
Seafood department , bakery and plate lunches for the locals.
A good place to pick up chocolates and nuts to take home for gifts.
Easy to get to from Waikiki take a 2 or 13 bus or walk.
Plenty of checkouts.
Seniors discount Tuesday.

“Best Shopping for all Items”
Reviewed 6 July 2012

Don Quijote is a very large stre that seems to sell everything from grocery to personal items also has a pharmacy.
All itens are well priced and after you do your shopping there is a taxi rank outside so you can transport your goods back to your hotel.
They have great specials eack week.
Well worth a trip just to see all the items they stock.

“"Donkey" The Japanese Market with the Spanish Name”
Reviewed 8 March 2012

There is a little area rising up around Don K and the Korean market with many Thai, Vietnamese, asian noodle restaurants and the LIke-LIke. There is plenty of parking and a two block walk from the bus on Kalakaua and two blocks to Walmart and Ala Moana Mall. Many organic fruits and veggies cheaper than Whole Foods. Big store they have everything. Should have some space for bands to perform.. play ukulele music.. let people remember this is a store in Hawaii not in Japan. I would like to see less use of MSG in the stores along side the store.. and in the products imported from Japan and China. MSG is not good for your brain. Support local organic farmers in Hawaii. Where are the solar panels on your roof to use less energy. It is not about making more money now it is about being a leader in the community and progressive in your practices of living aloha.

Very close to the Ala Moana Shopping Centre. Great affordable lunch. Fun to shop amongst Asian locals and tourists. Lots of Japanese products. Good prices.
