Great park right on the beach in Waikiki next to Hilton Hawaiian Village. Very well maintained and patroled by the military police. Nice place to eat lunch and get ouit of the sun!

Wow. A beautiful public park in the heart of Waikiki. Great for a picnic, with shade, right by the beach. Even a small playground, and tennis courts! Only park I saw in Honolulu without homeless (patrolled by Military Police)

Everything you could possibly need is within walking distance of the DeRussy Beach Park. Leave your electronics and enjoy the breeze, sun, water and your friends that are with you. Attempt to focus on the moment and your surroundings. No one will notice that you are truly enjoying the beach vs sending electronic images to others. Believe it or not, others can and will wait while you enjoy your vacation.
