I stayed here for 3 nights while attending a conference. It was clean, well located and a great value (esp compared to Hawaiian Village which is more expensive and where I stayed to relax afterwards). I would not stay here for vacation - the views are not great (compared to other hotels), the pool was pretty depressing with absolutely no view - very small, concrete floor, plastic loungers. It's a short walk to the beach but then you have to pay upwards of $50 to get a chair to sit there as well. The only complaint I have about this hotel is that they should not charge for the internet esp if they hope to attract business travellers.

this is our favorite place to stay when we visit my family on Oahu. Everything is exactly how we like it, a comfortable room with a luxurious bed. A balcony with a beautiful view of either the mountains and city, or the ocean and Kalakaua Blvd. No hidden resort fees everything is above board, although I wish that wifi was included with the room rate. Parking is valet only and expensive, but that is the Waikiki standard. 5 minute walk to Kuhio beach, it is not a beachfront resort, but offers all the amenities the nicer places have, plus a 24 hour restaurant that is very satisfying.

Room Tip: if you want a bathtub, make sure to request one in advance, as not all rooms have one. also end unit...

Great Hotel one block back from main drag, 3 min walk to beach, good room size although double beds are a bit small. Good restaurant downstairs but a bit pricey. Good pool and pool area on 10th floor. Buses right out the front as is the pink trolley. Hotel staff generally helpful. Concierge desk very slow waited up to 2 hours for service. Don't book tours from hotel too expensive. ABC stores everywhere(convenience stores). Not helpful with early check-in had to wait right up till 3pm even though our flight arrived 7.30am. Hotel nice and clean. Would stay again but Holiday Inn is better located right on main street in front of beach in the heart of everything for same price.Lots to see and do. NO spa in outdoor area. Air con was great and not too noisy.

Room Tip: We had a city view room with 2 double beds, room had partial view of mountains and view of beautiful...

Second time I stayed here in past 4 months and just as good the second time around. Good experience from check in to check out. Front desk efficient get you in and get you on to your room with minimum fuss. Rooms are great, comfortable and if you are lucky to have ocean view its spectacular. Lots of light in the room and you even get a balcony if you are comfortable hanging out try to get a room on the upper floors so you can have views of the beach and Diamondhead. Beds are comfortable, and rooms clean and you have a refrigerator and coffee maker in the credenza. Restaurants and Bar are good and staff friendly and good at taking care of the patrons. Go to happy hour and enjoy the music, they have very good entertainment most could make it on and perhaps win American Idol. Mahalo

Room Tip: Spend a little extra and get an ocean view, that's why you are here.

I have stayed at the Hilton Waikiki Beach many times over the past 15 years. The name has changed but the service and views from the upper levels remain the same....."very good to outstanding"

I like the hotel because it is near the park which is a wonderful place to job. There is a Starbucks right across from the park where you can get a cup of coffee and then cross the street to the beach or the park. Not a bad life!!!

The hotel could improve it's executive lounge which is in the basement and not very attractive. I no longer sign up for executive lounge access at the hotel. The other negative is the pool area tends to get very windy.

The hotel has enough positives that continue to draw me back. I plan on returning later this year when I am working in Honolulu.

Room Tip: Oceanside floor 18 and above

Great hotel with the fastest lifts I have ever been in. The balcony is not for the faint hearted and if you suffer from vertigo don't step out onto these. Thought that being charged for parking was pushing it a bit.

We booked our stay for October last year based on Trip Advisor reviews and were not disappointed. On arrival we were upgraded to an ocean view room and it made a huge difference being able to pull the curtains back every morning and see the beautiful view! The rooms are tastefully decorated, and very clean. The lobby is spacious and grand and the lifts very quick. We stayed on the 29th floor and found the hotel to be quiet and well run. The reception staff were efficient and housekeeping polite and friendly.
The stroll to the beach was 2 minutes and there is a bus stop to Ala Moana Shopping centre right outside the door. My 7 and 9 year old boys loved the ocean but were equally happy to return to the hotel and cool off in the pool. The pool deck was only slightly windy.
Our package deal included the buffet breakfast which we took advantage of. The boys enjoyed the variety of sausages, scrambled eggs, waffles, yoghurt, Danish pastries and muffins that changed daily.
On the day we checked out our flight was 10pm. We asked reception if we were able to have use of a room in the afternoon to freshen up before leaving for the airport. They were very accommodating and told us to check back in the afternoon to see if a room was available for an hour. We were able to secure a room from 4-5pm for a much needed shower before our flight.
All in all a positive experience for this fussy traveller! My family and I would definitely be back again.
