As you may see from the name of the tour, Tengoku no Umi (Ocean in Heaven), it is a very much Japanese oriented tour even though all crew can speak English and there were only Japanese people attended the tour when we went. But!!! I think no matter what nationality you are, crew's delicate, warm services would make everybody satisfied and happy.
This particular tour is to go see a sand bar and it is depending on the tide at the time you go if you can see the sand bar above the water or not but most of the time, you see beautiful white sand bar in the very shallow clear water. It was just amazing. The shallow blue clear water continued as far as eyes can sweep. It was about 1 foot of water when we went and there were only our tour group and a few people who came by their own boat.
Because of the nature of this tour, it is very good for all ages. My mom, who is over 70 years old, did't want to go into the water and get hair wet could enjoyed walking in the shallow ocean safely, holding hands with her grand son who is three years old.
Snorkeling was also a highlight of this tour. A big difference from other snorkeling tours is that the crew spend good amount of time explaining how to put gears and snorkel step by step. They let people hold hands each other and guide them to the deeper side. It's not a challenging snorkeling but even small children and beginners can try without any fear.
The food they served were delicious and menu was international. They served big Hawaiian donuts in the morning and a buffet lunch. Lunch had salads, Korean style BBQ short ribs, grilled chicken, chili, steamed rice, fruits and jello. Unfortunately, there were no alcohol served but you can bring your own.
We had great time!
