What can I say? Everything was good. The staff was friendly and even when the place was busy I never felt neglected or had to fight to get someone's attention like in some of the other nearby bars. The food was good and I started eating dinner there. The drink selection is good, especially if you like sake, and everything is reasonably priced.

The atmosphere is very quiet and relaxed. Don't come here for a party spot, but it is perfect to unwind and relax.

Location was good as it's just off Waikiki and has balcony outdoor seating. Reasonable priced and the comes out so hot you need to let it cool down. So for these reasons we actually went there twice but the fact is the food was mediocre. We had about 10 dishes over all. Best was Ahi and worst was braised ribs. Beer was reasonable at $4 a draft or bottle.

Me and my wife were walking down the street looking for something not-so-mainstream for our first night in Waikiki, when we saw this place, above a clothing store with the same name. It wasn't on our Fodor's guide, but it looked good from the street. It's on the third floor, and it has two balconies, one facing the street and the other facing the back. We didn't have reservations, but were able to get the last table on the front-balcony @ around 8pm on a thursday night.

The waiter brought our $4 draft beer fairly quickly, and we ordered some pupus (tapas/ appetizers) with the same price. Good stuff. Everything. We had the Ahi Poke, the fried Chicken, the smoked salmon, the spicy sausages and a pizza. All, except the pizza, were $4.

We stayed there for around 2 hours, and had a great time. When we left, the front balcony was still full.

We come to this restaurant lounge every time we visit Honolulu. The food is good and unique. Service staff and the local clientele is always friendly. Great $3.99 menu of food and drinks.

Upon hearing that this restaurant (if you want to call it that) offers everything on their menu for $3.99 during happy hour, my friends and I were curious to try it out.
Upon arriving the restaurant and climbing the stairs to the back of the building we had to practically ask a server to help us. We chose to eat outside. We ordered drinks and a variety of menu items: Pasta Sticks, Genius Poke, House Salad, Kimchee Fried Rice, Seafood Pasta and Grilled Short Ribs. The items started to slowly appear, first the tiny bite size salads, then the 3 tiny pieces of poke, then the pasta sticks (which appeared to be shavings of breadsticks) then the seafood pasta.. An Hour went by and no sign of Kimchee Fried Rice or Grilled Short Ribs. Asked the waiter over 3 times about the status of the meals, when i went inside to help myself to napkins as the waiter did not offer, i looked in the small kitchen and did not even see my items cooking. Fifteen minutes later the waiter came with a different dish to make up for the wait (nothing even close to what was ordered) said they were waiting for the wok to warm up to make the fried rice, an hour and a half really???? Finally the Grilled short Ribs full of fat and gristle showed up and were completely not edible... Fried Rice never arrived... to this day...
Will never return..
