This is a clean and modern hotel with very pleasant staff in a great central location. Waikiki has expensive accommodation, so this hotel was reasonable value for a nice modern hotel centrally located. A few minutes walk to the beach, shopping and eateries, this is a great choice of hotel in Waikiki.

My wife and I stayed here for three nights at the end of March. For the low rate we paid, we were extremely pleased with the overall experience. This is a very clean, recently remodeled establishment. The room was small, but included free water, coffee, wifi, and toiletries with plenty of towels. We received fresh towels every day (even though we didn't actually put our used ones on the floor), and the a/c was quiet. Having to use the room card to activate the a/c was a little awkward, but I understand why they do it (no need to run the a/c when there's no one in the room).

The hotel has a vibe that adds to the whole vacation experience; the employees were friendly and helpful. Dustin, in particular, helped us with all sorts of tips about the beach and surrounding area. The location is fantastic, about two blocks from the main entrance to the Royal Hawaiian Center, which itself is very close to the beach. Obviously, it's not the Halekulani. There's no restaurant, and if not having a completely unobstructed view of the ocean bothers you, then perhaps it won't be your cup of tea. However, if you want to keep your costs down, sleep in a clean room with friendly service in a great location, then the Shoreline is an excellent choice.

I really like this hotel! The hotel was very clean. The service was great and the people that worked there were so friendly and always willing to help. It was in a really good location, within walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. Would definitely recommend.

Great small sized hotel with modern services and perfect location to waikiki beach and shopping. Affordable and friendly staff. Highly recommended for people who don't want to go over the top, but want the services. Rooms are small, but accommodating.

Mahalo to every single person who works at Shoreline hotel! We just spent 9 nights at Shoreline and it was great. When we arrived on March 18, front desk manager sent a bottle of wine to our room as a gift for our upcoming wedding on the Island. I don’t remember his name but it was around 7 pm 03/18 – thank you so much to him! Honestly, every one at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Thank you for providing me with a sewing kit. When we left yesterday 03/27 Dustin Bellraz helped us with storing our language and later taking it to our taxi. Thank you so much!
The hotel itself was just like on the pictures. It feels new, fresh and modern. It was great to have coffee/ tea/ infused water and iced tea at the lobby all day long. In addition, it was nice to have fresh apples almost every morning. Thank you for that.
Our room was 1029. It was smaller than I expected, but now I think that the size was just right. Its cozy and you shouldn’t spend your day at the hotel, in Hawaii you must be outdoors! Big thanks to housekeeping team our room was always made on time and it was spotless.
I also wanted to say that I really liked that even though the hotel is big, it never felt overcrowded.
Overall, we had very good time in Hawaii and had a wedding of my dream. When we’ll be back we will be definitely considering staying at Shoreline Hotel. I would definitely recommend everyone staying there. Mahalo!

Me, my wife and our friends, we spent one week at Shoreline Waikiki. We have booked three rooms (11th,12th and 13th floor). All rooms were King Rooms, they looked pretty much the same and had similar views. Despite good rating I give, I can't really think of any strong and obvious pros of this hotel besides it's value. We liked a bed which was very comfortable, location and a big TV - thats it. Shoreline Waikiki is a typical medium class US hotel and you just shouldn't expect too much of those.
We had a quite clean and spacy room but our balcony was a total mess - a load of dirty concrete with water puddles after rain and a view reminding Hongkong. Advertised partial ocean view is an exaggeration as one can see only a little bit of water between buildings. There are sliding glass doors between the room and the balcony. Unfortunately locks on both were rusty and one didn't even work properly. Considering how close our balcony was to others we decided not to leave valuables inside the room. Bathroom was small and needed renovating not to mention stuck drain in the sink. But one thing I remember the most was air conditioning - complete disaster. The unit was placed exactly next to the bed. After switching on we felt like inside a freezer as cold air blew directly into us. Moreover the temperature was regulated by a long very cold and loud air bursts. They lasted for 10-20 minutes and paused for another 10-20mins. The only way to sleep was to open the sliding door and hope that noone will enter. We had to bare city noise of course having balcony opened. It was not that bad but we don't know how it would have been if we chose a room on lower floor.

Shoreline doesn't have any restaurant or bar. It also does not have a parking but one can have his car parked at a parking lot across the street (20$ a day plus valet). Location is rather OK. Waikiki can be reached within 5 minutes by foot. If you drive to Shoreline for the first time get a good look on the map. There is a lot of one way streets and it is easy to get lost. I think this hotel deserves good rating because it has considerably good location compared to the price.

Room Tip: The higher the better.

Aloha pilotnik,
Thank you for booking 3 rooms with us I am happy to see that you were able to take advantage of the hotels centralized location and competitive prices. As for the issues you brought up regarding your room, our maintenance department goes through a preventive maintenance checklist prior to all of our arrivals to ensure each room is working properly, thank you for letting us know so that we are able to double check the issues stated. While it is unfortunate that it rained during your stay our housekeeping department was more than happy to clean your lanai while servicing your room thank you for noticing. To clarify some of the comments made about the hotel, the Shoreline does have parking albeit it is valet only for $26 per day with in and out privileges and our hotel is located in Waikiki not 5 minutes by foot. Again thank you for your review and please have wonderful day.

Spent 5 nights at the Shoreline.
The room was modern looking, clean and big enough for 2. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Two baggage stands for our suitcases was thoughtful.

It's barely 5mins walk to Waikiki beach and right in the center of the busy area (restaurants, shops, etc). The complementary beach towels, water and coffee are a nice touch.

Parking is pricey at $25/day but found somewhere else at $15/day about 10-15mins walk away.
Worth the savings I think.

Overall, I'd stay there again.

Room Tip: We were on the 10th floor. Was good and quiet. Not the best view but it was ok (buildings and other...
