Our daughter discovered Bruno's Forna while at University of Hawaii Manoa and took mom and dad during their recent visit. This is one of those gems of a "hole in the wall" restaurant that everyone should know about. The gentleman behind the counter explained how he made noodles there but the sauce and assembly of most items took place at their other restaurant. Daughter ordered a coffee and said it was the best she'd ever had. The photo shows her "Country Panini." The rest of us enjoyed Lasagnas (Bolognese and Carbonara) and Salmon Panini. Bread and water came with the meal. The lasagnas were pre-made and in aluminum tins. Don't let that fool you; they are fresh, authentic, hot, filling, and only $8 each. A real value!
