The views at the top are awesome. Reading previous posts, I didn't have any trouble finding my way. The elevation gain is decent and a nice work out. The trail is in the shade which was great since I didn't start up early and it was a hot day. There is a picnic area about half way up, which was a nice break. Most of my hikes are in the western US so the green vegatation was a welcome change. Caution: the driving directions were a little confusing, the clay steps can get a little slippery if wet, and the trail head is at the end of a residential area so parking can be a problem.
