“Beautiful at night”
Reviewed 1 December 2013

We drove up for the view at night. Nothing like seeing the city lights of Honolulu. This is a romantic spot if it isnt busy. unfortunately the tour buses know about this place.

“Find this hidden gem!”
Reviewed 30 November 2013

This is the BEST views of Honolulu and Diamond Head. It is a free well-maintained park. You drive through lovely neighborhoods to get there. Really worth the time and drive.

“Required Overlook”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

The winding road is well worth the hairpin turns to experience the view from the top. Clean, clear, and truly breathtaking. This is an absolutely do not miss kind of spot. Take a snack, take a blanket, sit on the sloping hillside and take it all in from sea to shining sea.

“Amazing view!”
Reviewed 14 November 2013 via mobile

After a drive up in elevation where we watched the temperature drop drastically, we loved the view. Sixteen members of our family took a wonderful vacation to Hawaii this summer. This was one of our many memorable stops.

“Beautiful Views”
Reviewed 11 November 2013

The drive to this lookout is windy with several scenic stops that overlook the city. However, the Puu Ualaka State Park Lookout itself is amazing as it overlooks the entire Honolulu area from Diamond Head to Aiea. We went up there to watch the sunset, as did many people; and, I have to say, it is well worth the drive to get up there. Do take a light jacket or sweatshirt as it can be a bit windy / chilly as the sun begins to set.
