Maybe it was the friends I was with, certainly it was partly the food, maybe it was the fact that I was still in Honolulu after a few months of working on a project there. We found Ferguson's almost by accident, and had a great meal. Wasn't that much either. The Irish food is different - for Hawai'i, makes for a good change from Hawai'ian barbecue, food trucks, and other places up and down Kalakau'a and the Ala Moana Mall - not that I'd avoid any of those, mind you!
