Stayed here for four nights at the beginning of our Hawaii trip. The rooms were ok, nothing too fancy but at least with a little bit of a view of the ocean. The staff were accomodating and friendly and they had a nice hot breakfast buffet. We had a lot of fun in Oahu. We went to the Polynesian Cultural Center and it was a lot of fun. Many things to try out and learn about. We ate at the Prime Rib buffet which was really good and watched their evening show. We toured Oahu and spent some time sightseeing and on the beach before flying over to Maui.

We stayed at the Waikiki Resort for two nights as a pre-cruise package. We were welcomed by the desk staff and the bellman, who refused our gratutity because he said it was included in the pre-cruise package. The buffet breakfast was very good and everything was clean and looked to be newly updated. The location, just 1.5 blocks from the beach, was great. They handled our luggage and transfer to the ship very smoothly. We will surely stay there again if given the opportunity.

I was planning on checking in for one night and ended staying for a month. The hotel is a gem in the heart of Waikiki without all the hustle and bustle. It is in a great location and only steps away from world famous Waikiki Beach. I looked at many other hotels in that same price range while I was staying there and did not find even one that came any where close. The rooms were spacious, and newly renovated with flat panel TV's. My room had a view of Waikiki Beach and also of Diamond Head which I enjoyed from my lanai. I found the staff truly exceptional and I felt like family after just a few days. This hidden gem I will recommend to my friends who visit!

As Kamaaina, they gave us a room with two double beds & free parking for $86 per night and upgraded us to an ocean view mini suite for just $10 more our final two nights. 50% off the breakfast buffet cost us just $3 for our kids and $6 for me. We ate breakfast there every day for a week! Since so many of the guests at the hotel were from Asia without rental cars, I never had trouble getting a parking spot in the gated lot. One morning we discovered that I left the keys in the ignition overnight (long story) and the battery was dead. The hotel manager quickly found an employee with jumper cables and used his own car to jump start us. Every one of the staff was very helpful & friendly the whole week. The location is great. One block from the beach and two blocks from the Internaltional Market Place. Three of our favorite places to eat are within 3 blocks Keoni (Thai and American), Caio Mein (chinese and italian) in the Hyatt & offer kamaaina discount! and Torito's (take-out Mexican in the marketplace food court).
At the combined price of the room, breakfast, and free parking, this is the only place we will stay when we go to Oahu.

This hotel was part of a package we received from a travel agent.

Positives:
Great location (2 minute to the beach, activities)
Lobby was very nice with entertainment in the afternoon

Negitives:
Alot of street noise on the 7th floor
Room was very small... tiny shower (no tub) with mildew, older beds and carpet.

A 2 night stay was part of our Pride of America cruise of the islands, however we opted to stay 5 nights prior to the cruise and two nights after. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the hotel and staff... including the price!! We chose an ocean view room which I would HIGHLY recommend. Although the hotel is one block from the beach we still had a wonderful view of the beach and sunsets. The rooms were clean, the staff eager to please. We recommend asking at the desk (Judith who was SO helpful!!) about taking the city bus to various sites. Just $2.25 each way. Our room at ($109 per night) also included a wonderful buffet breakfast!!! A 20% discount to the Korean restaurant at the hotel enabled us to try Korean food. Each day we enjoyed watching the flight crews from Korean air come and go. Just across the street is a small outdoor restaurant with great ribs and chicken. Dinner for the two of us was $33, including a beer. We would stay here again in a minute!!!

Thank you, Sherry, Brandon & Andy for a lovely stay at the Waikiki Resort Hotel. Nothing was ever too much for them the owners are fortunate to have such good staff. My 2 week stay was the best holiday I have ever had the Island of Oahu is beautiful. There was always an Aloha or Mahalo from everyone you came in to contact with on the island very rare these days. Hopefully one day I shall return to this paradise. Mahalo Nui Loa
