Simple, good food. Should get reservations and go a bit early since parking can be weird there. But its worth it. The food is simple, the drinks are reasonable and its a casual laid back place. Nothing hugely pops out but you know its good when you walk in and see some of the "celebrity" chefs and other restaurant owners in there having a good time. Cant go too wrong when ordering and the sushi is actually pretty good. the sake selection is not too bad and not hugely over priced too. I like it. made for a simple easy date night. We bought drinks for two friends, GF and I had a good time and ate so much we left food on the table. $120 with tip. I say thats a deal. and they are actually friendly in there too.
probably not too good for parties over 6 cause it is small. but an izakaya should be that way.
