My wife and I stayed here after our Hawwain Island cruise on our last night before returning home. The front desk reception was super friendly. We arrived at 9:30 in the morning after disembarking the cruise ship. We were going to ask them if we could store our luggage until check-in time. The front desk receptionist found us a room and checked us in which was great! Talk about unexpected!
We had a deluxe mountain view room which was worth every penny. Decent size balcony on the 30th floor with fabulous views of the mountains. The room was a good size with a very comfortable king size bed and large flat screen TV. Very clean and seems to have been recently remodelled. Bathroom was a good size as well.
We didn't spend time in the pool, but we did have a look. It was a decent size pool with hot tub and plenty of loungers.
The location was good. Not right on the beach but only a few minutes walk away and the price is less than staying beachfront of course.
We didn't have a car so parking charges were not an issue. The only thing we didn't like is that they charge $10.00 a day for wifi access (free if you a Hilton Gold member I think).

We would stay here again on a future trip to Waikiki for sure.

Room Tip: The Deluxe King Mountain view on a higher floor is awesome. I think the ocean views are a little bit...

Stayed in the Aii Tower for 5 nights and loved every minute. The resort is huge with so many things to do. Check in was quick as we had our own reception and as it was our honeymoon they put us in the biggest corner suite with ocean front views which was amazing. Room was very modern, comfy large bed and cleaned daily. The Aii tower has its own pool and gym which was welcome, but there are many other options across the resort. Ate at the Italian restaurant one night which I would highly recommend. Staff were friendly and you can walk alongside the beach to the other hotels and the main strip in about 10/15 mins. Waikiki is very busy but we didn't mind, there are so many shops and restaurants that you are spoilt for choice. We had a great time here and to top it off saw the fireworks on Friday night with front row seats on our balcony.

We were so disappointed with our experience at this hotel. While the property is located on a lovely beach, it is gigantic and loaded with tourists from all over the world. Be aware that everything costs "extra". Beach chairs are $15 even if you only use for an hour. Parking is in a tower about a block away, a d costs $27 per day. The fitness center is inadequate for the number of guests. One set of free weights for about 2000 people! And the fitness center is in a building away from most of the guest rooms ( about three blocks!). Restaurants are average at best. Our "Premium" was a standard at any other property.
Next time we will stay at a Marriott

Room Tip: Try to stay in the Diamond tower

Just got back form 4 nights in a Ocean-View All'i tower room for our 10th wedding anniversary. We booked through Costco travel & paid no daily resort fee, had automatic room upgrade...I thought it was well worth the price. Our room was on 14th floor (out of 15), we had a large balcony and it could definitely pass for "Ocean front". We had a view of Diamond Head and see the beautiful beach from our bed. The ABC stores in the hotel provided us with affordable water, snacks & adult beverages. We REALLY enjoyed the All'i tower, especially the pool that is exclusive to the All'i tower guests. The pool/towel attended was super nice and they really enforce the "no reserving chairs" policy which I liked. I don't think there was ever a time when all the chairs were taken, there was also plenty of umbrellas, cozy cushions on the chairs, nice bathrooms, iced towels, and ice water. There was also a small bar at All'i pool which served the same snacks as the grab and go café & and I was pleasantly surprised the prices were the same. We ate at Tropics one morning and it was super disappointing because the bar didn't open until 10:30am or 11 and we really wanted mimosa's and bloody marys to go with our Hawaiian breakfast. If you want a quiet, luxurious pool and room, I would definitely stay in the All'i tower. It was a like a little oasis inside of the busy Hilton Hawaiian Village. We also really enjoyed the location of the HHV to Waikiki Beach...it was walkable to shopping and dining but we kinda felt like it was a quieter, nicer beach at the HHV.

Room Tip: We asked for a high floor when we booked the room and they gave us floor 14, out of 15! It was also...

The Hilton Hawaiian Village is a remarkable place. We stayed there for Christmas 2010 with our daughter, son-in-law and their three children. It is an absolutely great place for families and children. This time we were on our own but we still enjoyed staying there for all of the restaurants shops and other activities suitable for adults.
It really is a village with everything you need and there is no need to leave except for the obvious thins like Pearl Harbour and a visit to the other side of the island or other restaurants.
There are several towers of accommodation and they must all have a good outlook. The Rainbow Tower where we stayed is right on Waikiki beach with magnificent views of Diamond Head.
The shops cater for almost everything you could possibly need. There are two ABC Stores in the village (there are 59 stores in Hawaii) where you can buy food, drink, souvenirs, clothing, jewellery, just about anything!
There is no doubt that the Hilton Hawaiian Village is a convenient place to stay.
On Friday night they put on a spectacular fireworks display.

Room Tip: The Rainbow Tower looking toward Diamond Head on a high floor (26 to 31) is a good choice. The highe...

This place is huge - many towers to stay in, many pools and shops on offer and plenty to do, right on your doorstep. If you don't like crowds, this may not be the place for you as there are ALWAYS people everywhere, but the advantage of course is that you can find what you need close by.
We stayed in the Ali'i Tower which was handy - we booked a resort view room and were lucky enough to be moved to a partial ocean view room which was a great bonus.
The Rainbow Tower buffet breakfast was good value and we had a great dinner and drinks at Tropics Bar & Grill.

Room Tip: Ali'i Tower was a good choice and partial ocean view was a nice treat - although does overlook o...

3 nights in April-14, a couple, in the Rainbow Tower, facing the beach and Diamond Head.
We had a car, valet service was quick and expedite ($33 a day parking fee). What looked like a long line for check-in at 2:30pm was in the end a 20' wait. Courteous check-in with orientations to our tower. The checkout at 8:30 am was even faster, absolutely no line.
Good fireworks show on Friday night. The view from this tower can´t be beaten in all the island. Room spacious, clean, everything working well, though not modern in style.
The hotel will please everyone differently according to taste, it is after all made of various towers, there are shops enough to make a reasonable shopping mall (far most convenient of all stores the two ABC stores, almost supermarkets), and lots of people everywhere, lining mainly for the eateries. These are proportionally few for the size of the resort.
The beach is fine, we preferred it to the swimming pools with their rows of chairs and moving shadows according to the hour due to the trees. On the beach, chairs must be rented ($15 each), as well as the umbrellas, these go for $ 30, quite expensive, eh? No food or drinks service in the beach.
Hotel staff consistently friendly and efficient. Overall it is a big resort, full of people, somewhat noisy, well maintained, extraordinarily well located (Hilton was fortunate to grab that area), and I would say, competitively priced. Longest line: not at the check-in but at the Starbucks in the morning (there are other options).
