We just got back from 11 nights at Hyatt Place 23/9 to 4/10. This is a nicely renovated hotel. Cannot fault the staff from Tour desk to Concierge.
The happy hour Mai Tai's were powerful but hey, we were not driving anywhere.
We had a king sea view room and whilst some of the view was obstructed this was to be expected a street back from beach. Breakfast included was a real bonus. Gym sufficiently equipped to do some cardio before the diamond head walk. Beds nice and comfortable, rooms featured large tv, good bathrooms with separate sink area and we loved the balcony.
The only negative was the pidgeons at breakfast. We worked it out to clean up in the trays provided straight after eating and don't walk away leaving table unattended ( saw the same Asian people have food gobbled twice after not learning the first time)
Despite this I rate this hotel highly and it was perfect for us as a number of family members were staying there.More
