What can I say? The Sheraton Waikiki is a gorgeous hotel in the middle of a seemingly chaotic city. Our room was surprisingly large and immaculately kept. The only downside is the smaller pool area for the children. It is a small pool for such a large hotel, but I understand that there may not be enough beachfront property to extend. The adults only pool is beautiful and the view is amazing. Sitting at the Rumfire at night listening to the waves crashing is incredible.

we were 9 nights at the hotel just this past October '12, at first arriving you are impressed, its a lovely huge hotel right on the beach, just lovely and the hotel foyer is large with good shops and new decor. BUT arriving on the landing of your floor, the elation drops, its like you have stepped back into the 80's and the same with the hotel rooms, but the hotel rooms having had a little reno work done. Everything was clean though. and if requesting an ocean view you wont be disappointed. We got an ocean view and to walk into the room and go onto the balcony and have the infinity pool and beach as your view and at your beck and call- magnificent. The rooms just average size - average room. Here they have concentrated on the HOTEL rather than your hotel room. The location of the hotel is superb, close to absolutely everything when not wanting the pool or beach. My husband says he would not stay there if we were to have anor visit there, but I would. I hated to leave there after our 9 night stay, but then I hated to leave our stay at the Bellagio hotel in Vegas, (but thats anor review lol)

Everything is first class: the rooms are spacious and spotless, the grounds from the infinity pool to the Koi Pond area beautiful. The location is good - on the ocean, a view of Diamond Head and the mountains. Many shuttles and tour buses stop at the Sheraton or very near so getting around is convenient. I would definitely recommend the Sheraton Waikiki.
