Nestled in the most beautiful part of town ! Antebellum homes surrounding it with gorgeous trees and landscaping. The owners are top notch and we absolutely could not have picked a better place to stay. Can't wait to go back !

We stayed at the McNutt House May 19th through May 22nd in the Betty suite and had a very relaxing and comfortable stay. There was even a recliner in our suite which you rarely find in a B & B or a nice hotel. Elvin and Pam, the owners and wonderful hosts gave us a detailed interesting tour and history of this gem of a home. The Betty suite is large enough to allow all the comforts of home. The courtyard and deck are beautiful, relaxing and well kept.

The McNutt House is located in the old part of Vicksburg (of course) and made for very convenient touring and wondering.

Our stay in Vicksburg was great and very educational. Would definitely stay with Elvin and Pam again at this historic home.

Arrived in Vicksburg and found the McNutt house easy to get to and located in town close to everything. Elvin met us in the courtyard upon our arrival and showed us to our suite. We stayed in the Betty Suite which was very comfortable. The courtyard is nicely landscaped and very peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed the evenings sitting on the swing listening to the frogs and the fountain. Pam has put in a lot of hours with the landscaping. We had booked two nights, but ended staying two more!! Would stay again when visiting the area!

Room Tip: We looked at all the rooms and any would be fine.

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights in May 2013. We should have stayed longer.

We rented a room in the Magill House portion of the property. It had a small kitchenette with everything you need.

The place was very clean and comfortable and the owner was very helpful.

We would stay there again if we ever get back to Vicksburg.

If I was to return to Vicksburg I would be happy to stay here again. Elvin, the owner, was very nice and was really open to sharing the history of the house. The room was quite affordable, clean, and had all the necessary amenities. The house was kept very period with many relics to view. I won't tell you too much because you should really experience for yourself amd stay here when you make your own trip to this historic area.

McNutt house was our lodging choice in Vicksburg simply based on price (Governor's Suite was only $85, including tax) but after driving around town it was obvious that McNutt is also in the best location. Close to the River and close to the yummy Rusty's restaurant. The little courtyard is cute and of course there is an actual soldier buried on the grounds. The Governer's Suite is the downstairs room, it has an entrance into the house and also an entrace onto the street, which is nice. Spacious room with kitchenette and bathroom. We met Elvin when we arrived, he answered all of our questions and we never saw him again. We called to let him know we were checking out and that was is. Very easy. The room was clean and nicely furnished. I definitely recommend it.
