“Our favorite stop in Walla Walla”
Reviewed 28 July 2012

Walla Walla Vintners is located on a beautiful piece of property between vinyards, wheat fields, and rows and rows of lavendar. The wine is outstanding, and the staff is fun and relaxed. It is a beautiful spot for a picnic during your day of wine tasting.

“Walla Walla wine country, get there soon”
Reviewed 20 July 2012

Remember California wine country before the wineries all looked like chemical plants? You could actually talk with the people who made the wine. Walla Walla is a very good wine region, soon it will be one of the best in the world. French and Italian money buying land and building wineries is the sincerest form of flattery. There are only 32000 people in the city but more than 200 wineries ranging from family owned operations to big name international corporations. All the standard wines are available but from what I could tell there isn't a dominate grape varietal yet. Everyone seems to be trying out a wide range of Spanish and Italian grapes to see what happens. This makes for a great tasting experience.
This is a big county with onion and wheat farms everywhere, so be prepared to do some driving or take one of the tours. There are plenty of tasting rooms in the city if you prefer to walk. It's hot during the summer so bring water. Everyone learns sooner or later that wine does not keep you hydrated.
Overall I'd say you would have a hard time finding any bad wine. It's a lot of fun and there are a lot of great wines to be found.

“Miles Anderson...What a Winemaker!!”
Reviewed 25 June 2012

When it comes to the consumate wine authority, look no further. Miles Anderson has taught so many wine makers and enthusiasts so very much about Washington wines. All of the wines from Walla Walla Vintners are grand but most probably the top of the heap is their Cabernet Franc. This wine is consistently great from vintage to vintage. When you are visiting the Walla Walla area, be sure to call ahaed and make an appointment to sample this tremendous wine.

“Personable & Delicious”
Reviewed 19 June 2012

We arrived at WWV without realizing we needed an appointment during the week. But, Gordy welcomed us and gave us a tour of the entire operation and tasting of everything he had available. His wine is very good and very reasonable priced. Gordy is so personable and loves talking about his wines - his passion.

These vintners still hand press their wine and it is unfiltered! WOW! Hurry to get their spring release before they sell out! Great location and you will love the staff!
