i have stayed at the Inn at Abeja a number of times and every time i have noted the attention to detail and accomodation of any request i make. The staff is superb. The lodging is luxurious and spotless, the breakfasts are gourmet and the wine. The wine is tops. Since it is slightly out in the country with a creek behind the nights are very quiet and restful. There is no where else to stay if the traveller is in Walla Walla.

Room Tip: There isn't a swimming pool, i checked that in error. i like to stay in the Hayloft suite, thou...

Abeja is our new standard by which we will compare our future wine country getaways! From the wonderful staff, amazingly flavorful and unique breakfasts, and beautifully finished rooms we left there feeling refreshed and pampered. Having a world class operating winery on site only added to our wonderful experience. Ken and his staff have created an experience that left us completely fulfilled and excitedly scheduling our next stay there!

The Inn at Abeja is the best inn I have ever stayed at. I have stayed here three times and always yearn to come back. There is nowhere else I would rather stay than at Abeja. The staff at Abeja take the BEST care of their guests. We asked for a BBQ for our patio so we could cook in-house - they have it there with all the necessary tools, in minutes ! Mary, the innkeeper, makes the most spectacular breakfasts - truly one of a kind and tasty. The grounds and rooms are perfectly kept up ....it is a peaceful place to spend some time. If you go, take some time and wander around - explore the vines, the flowers, the lower property area with a hammock and sitting area, and edible garden area. The wine is one of a kind and delicious. And don't forget to pet Kasey Kat - the orange and white cat that wanders around - he is the icing on the cake of a spectacular team of people who make your stay one of a kind !

Thank you for your review. We appreciate the time you have taken to review our property and we are glad you enjoyed your stay. Kasey cat is our unofficial ambassador at Abeja. He loves to watch over our guests and entertain them with his antics! We look forward to your return visit.

My husband and I decided to stay here to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. We were kindly upgraded to the Chicken Coup house that we couldn't have been happier with! The house was newly remodeled and the perfect amount of space for us both. The 3 headed shower was a perk, perfect sized galley kitchen, and chicken decor made me smile. There are SO many things that I enjoyed about the property- walking among the vineyards and also the near by creek made my blood pressure drop and me relax, sitting out on the deck in the sun reading and drinking Abeja cab was soothing, listening to the great music that was provided to us while BBQing on the weber they delivered to us, THE SHEETS ARE TO DIE FOR- best comfort EVER, and not to forget the wonderful hospitality from Mary the inn keeper- she is an amazing cook and just an all around great person who makes you feel special and welcome. Thank you Abeja- we will be back!!!

Room Tip: All are individual houses- chicken coup where we stayed was newly remodeled. The hayloft was amazin...

We stayed in the "Chicken Coop", which has been recently renovated. We were totally impressed with the renovation and with all the attention to detail. The decor was fabulous, we enjoyed having the kitchen and used it one evening to make our dinner instead of eating out. The bedroom was very comfortable, and the linens they use were so great that my wife took a picture of the label so she could find some.

The service is top-notch, as Mary and her crew strive to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The daily breakfasts were superb and served with smiles. Nice touches such as home-made scones and fresh-squeezed orange juice were very welcome and appreciated. On one of the days we were there, a wine tasting was held for the guests....if you haven't had Abeja wine, you're missing out!

We consider Abeja to be our preferred destination in Walla Walla whenever we visit.

Room Tip: We've only tried the "Chicken Coop", which faces the back of the property and overlook...

We stayed in the Edison House which was so beautiful and comfortable. It was very private. The grounds in March were beautiful, and we can only imagine how beautiful it is when everything is in bloom. Mary made us feel at home, met us after hours on our arrival, and served amazing breakfasts each morning. And gave us recommendations on restaurants, places to walk, etc. The wine tasting was informative and personal. The cottages are original outbuildings of the farm/winery and have all been redone and are absolutely beautiful. We intend to go back as soon as we can! Jan and John

Thank you for staying with us a I am glad that you enjoyed your stay. The weather is finally warming up and we are starting to see flowers popping up everywhere. Hopefully you will be able to return in the summer when you can enjoy breakfast in the garden!

My husband surprised me with a weekend getaway to Walla Walla in March of this year and we stayed at this beautiful property. We were warmly greeted by Mary, provided a lovely glass of cab at check in, provided an overview of the grounds and our room (the Bunkhouse) and given great suggestions for dinner and wineries to visit. We had such a wonderful weekend at Abeja! We were their first guests of the season and had the whole place to ourselves the first day. Our first evening was so quiet and peaceful. The Bunkhouse was quite comfortable, despite the cool Walla Walla weather. We slept wonderfully each and every night. The breakfasts provided to guests are AMAZING - Mary is quite the chef (although she is very humble about it). We had country eggs benedict the first morning, baked huevos rancheros the second and lemon souffle pancakes the third. Each breakfast was better than the last (and they were all fantastic, so that is saying a lot). Plus we had homemade scones or coffee cake, great coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice. The grounds are so lush. We took a walk down by the creek each morning (sometimes further out) and just marveled at how quiet and beautiful the countryside was. It really set the tone for each day. I would love to go back to Abeja and hope that we have the opportunity to do so.

Room Tip: Each room is unique and comfortable! We loved the Bunkhouse as it was a little separated from the o...

We are always excited when the first guests of the season arrive. And what a wonderful surprise from your husband! I was surprised this morning when I spotted the first hummingbird of Spring visiting the feeder outside the Bunk House. I am sure many more will follow.
