Not only is this property enchanting, but Mary and her staff are amazing. Beautifully decorated rooms with different motifs, highest quality linens and an exquisite breakfast in the main house awaits you at the charming inn. The wines are also wonderful and I always leave with at least a few bottles. Do not leave Walla Walla without a nights stay at the Inn at Abeja.

Our friends invited us to Walla Walla and Yakima for a wine tasting weekend and picked the Abeja for us. I can tell you that this is THE best place to stay while in the Walla Walla. Its like going to a friends home that just so happens to own and run a winery with guest cottages available for you to stay. From the moment you drive up the quaint driveway, to whatever cottage choice you make you will feel immediately at peace and relaxed. We only had chosen a one night stay but we all regretted not staying longer. Hand made breakfasts each morning with their signature Egg Benie after a restful sleep. Then a tasting of their wines in their tasting room. Then maybe just sit near the garden and enjoy a bottle or two and a good book. Close to most of the great wineries, we will be back. Just book it!

I can say without question that we will be back! Recommended by friends who had heard about it but not stayed themselves yet, we booked 2 nights in the Locust Suite. The property itself is set in a stunning relaxing location not more than 5-10 minutes to downtown. You might think you are staying in a '4 Seasons' property when you stay here. Whatever you do, don't miss breakfast! Make your tee time later if you have to! Mary, the Inn Keeper, wears many hats and wears them all well! Our room was spacious and so many interesting furnishings put together like Architectural Digest magazine. There is a full size living room with several sitting areas and the bedroom itself is king-sized, with a king bed. Bedding is luxurious and comfortable. Be sure to walk around the property and admire the garden art and seating areas. Free internet and parking. There was not a wine tasting offered during our stay as we were Sunday and Monday nights but we were welcomed with a glass of their own Abeja wine. Plan ahead, book your stay, and get ready to enjoy a truly marvelous property and staff.

We experienced extraordinary hospitality at the Inn at Abeja! The gorgeously restored 100 year-old farmstead, now a private winery and lodge, is a fairy tale come true. You’ll need to experience the peace and tranquility that comes over you while you're there to believe it. We stayed in the “Bunk House” and couldn’t have been more pleased! The cozy little house with a private patio, beautifully appointed with period pieces, reminded us of our grandmothers’ houses. Those who designed this setting (and others there) thought of every amenity. The grounds were gorgeous. Mary, the Inn Keeper and Chef, was genuinely interested in and attentive to her guests. She was an excellent “reader” of the kinds of interactions people appeared to want. We were served scrumptious breakfasts, unlike any we’ve had before. The staff persons on the grounds were friendly and helpful while they were inconspicuous and unobtrusive. We arrived as two women on our honeymoon and felt very welcome. Our only regret was we couldn’t stay longer! We can’t say enough about our stay at The Inn At Abeja. This place is magic!

Room Tip: The "Bunk House" is separate from the other building and very private.

We had been looking forward to staying at the Inn at Abeja for 2 years and had a wonderful experience! We stayed in the Hayloft. It was beautifully appointed, so peaceful and serene.
We stayed 2 nights and wished it could have been a week. Mary was wonderful, the hospitality was superb as were the breakfasts in the beautiful great room. We have stayed in many beautiful places in the world and Abeja we will definitely be a destination we look forward to revisiting!

The best way to contextualize this review is to call out the Title: Fire Alarm in our suite at 12:30 AM that went on for a few minutes, necessitated calling the front desk, and fire engines evidently came to property...

...and it was STILL a 5 star experience.

Lovely grounds, outstanding rooms, quiet, quaint. Superb experience.

The staff is fantastic and Mary the innkeeper is wonderful; informative, helpful, friendly. Great representation of the Walla Walla community.

Best experience for a stay in Walla Walla. You won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: Each suite represents a very different experience...if you have ANY questions after viewing the webs...

We stayed 3 nights and have only 1 complaint - they were fully booked and we couldn't say longer. Beautiful, thoughtfully planned accommodations, enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen, walked along the creek and through the vineyards, enjoyed the terrific Walla Walla wine and food scene (don't miss Saffron) and then retreated to this tranquil piece of paradise. Mary is an accomplished innkeeper who has trained her staff to provide top notch luxury service discreetly and make it seem effortless. Walla Walla is experiencing an unprecedented onslaught of yellow jackets, and when she learned I have a moderate bee allergy, Mary saw to it that a nearly full bee trap above our deck was replaced immediately and an extra one was added, giving me much needed peace of mind. The Abeja wines are justifiably famous, so the complimentary tasting (and access to the mailing list) really gilds the lily. My husband and I are world travelers and have stayed in many 5-star places over the years, and in saying we'd give the Inn at Abeja 10 stars if we could we mean it to be a special review. Very highly recommended in every way.

Room Tip: Locust Suite would be especially nice in late fall or winter
