Better bet than most of the restaurants around! I would dive to Walla Walla just to go to this place and stock up. Absolutely the best meats and prices are not outrageous.

They do ship!

“Best cheese and salami in town! Excellent gourmet grocery!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 May 2007

On a recent trip to Walla Walla to visit family my husband and I came
across a gourmet grocery store called Salumiere Cesario. We were looking for some food to take with us wine tasting and Salumiere Cesario had just what we were looking for. There was plenty to choose
from including pre-packed picnic lunches. We picked up some delicious
salami, cheese and bread for the day. Damon, the store owner, was so helpful and knowledgeable about the different salami and cheeses. I was amazed by how much he knew about food and wine. The experience was so educational. Damon brought us into the “Cheese Closet” for a tasting, where he keeps his seasonal selection. We sampled some very delicious and rare cheeses from around the world.

When visiting this store you must try the salt bar which features several different selections of interesting cooking and finishing salts. We purchased a smoked salt that we have used since our visit on a roast and it was delicious.

We also signed up for the tasting event that was scheduled for the following day. Luckily someone had cancelled and they had an opening.
We went back to the store the following day along with 18 others. The event was so much fun. We met some of the locals, had great conversation and tasted some excellent wines.

As you can probably gather we really enjoyed our visit to this store and walked away with some great food and great memories. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Walla Walla.
