My family and i decide to go to the football hall of fame class of 2009. The nearest hotel that we could book was the red carpet inn. I was very disappointed when i walked through the door. The service was terrible, there were big bugs on the hallway walls, the whole place smelled of smoke, the doors looked like you were in a jail cell, and there was hardly any light in the hallways making it feel very much like the twilight zone! The room was no better, it was small and smelled like something died! There were stains on the ceilings and walls, the lights didn’t work, the refrigerator smelled like rotten eggs, there was sticky stuff on the television, and there wasn’t even a clock! The bathroom was dirty with a long hair on the blow drier, the toilets made you feel like you were back to kindergarten (and not in a good way) they were too small and your legs hit the toilet paper holder so you had to sit sideways, there was no vanity to put your bathroom necessities, and the pipes in our room were broken and made loud noises. The pipes woke us and people in the room next to us up at 6:00 in the morning. One staff member was very rude and snippy (the rest of the staff was very nice). I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels before but the Red Carpet Inn was by far the worst. I was happy to leave and would never go back!

This place was a dump, the heater/air conditioner wasn't even connected to the wall fully so we kept getting cold, the shower had no soap holders not to mention it was a really small shower to begin with and the water pressure was horrible, the room looked like it had been cleaned on the outside, but there were ciggerete burns in the blankets and under the mattress there were stains and crumbs, not to mention that night there were people cussing and fighting outside our door, I literally felt like we were in a ghetto, and the fridge smelled of mildew and the nightstand drawer was broken and the price for this room was ridiculous 50$ a night, I would have much rather stayed in a 100$ hotel, never again....
