“Beautiful Zoo!”

We were in Cincinnati visiting family and went to the Cincinnati Zoo. Very nicely done! The animals looked like they were well taken care of and the park was very clean.
Would highly suggest visiting the zoo.

“Very nice zoo and huge!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 August 2014

We always like visiting the zoo while in Cincinnati. The zoo is pretty large so I would allow 3-4 hours. There are so many animals to see along with a 4D movie and a train ride. The zoo is very clean and the staff was very helpful. This is one of the nicest zoos I've been to.

“A fun day at the Zoo”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 August 2014

We parked the car in a northern neighborhood and rode the city bus to the zoo. This is the best way to go to the zoo and avoid the parking fees & sketchy neighborhoods surrounding the zoo. The grounds in the zoo are lovely with blooming flowers. The animals looked well cared for. We enjoyed, and learned from, the many animal talks. I loved sharing this part of my youth with my family!!!!

“Another great zoo!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 August 2014

This zoo has many things going for it. The docents are very helpful, and the exhibit talks informative. They even have a Smartphone App if you want to download it from their web site.
One of the great things was a Cheetah Encounter Show, where the Cheetah raced after a lure similar to a greyhound race, (but the cheetah is much faster!) The Manatee Springs display was a great opportunity to see the lovable animals below the water – and the water was very clean.
The Giraffe Feeding is on a schedule, as are several other things. Plan accordingly so as not to miss out.
This zoo has a short train ride, a great Base Camp Café, and a very nice otter display, with underwater viewing. The gardens are very nice and worth a trip all by themselves.
Another great zoo you will not want to miss.

“Well planned!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 August 2014

Parking was $9.00 on the way out, but we went late in the day and got a close spot. Going in the afternoon really thins the crowd out. The map was a bit confusing and the train didn't have a great path around the zoo. Much of it was woods or the back of fences other than an arch around swan lake. Stroller rental is $10.00. Good exhibits, not much interactive in the late afternoon. Some eateries closed by 4pm. Yellow jackets swarmed all the tables and chairs. We got face painting done and the girl was admittedly not good at it, but it didn't bother us. Really liked the birds, penguins, big cats, polar bears, and the manatees.
