This is set on the bank of the Ohio river, both indoor and outdoor seating, but would rather sit inside. Strewn throughout the restaurant are sports and political nostalgia that will keep your eyes moving at all times. Shoot, they have a picture and signature Bob Evans, Cacuis Clay (Muhammad Ali), Bob Hope and Evander Holyfield's ear. The food is great and the ambiance is fantastic. The wait staff was very attentive and made sure all of our needs were met. Great location that I will definitely be visiting again next time I am in Cincy!

The location and ambiance of the Boathouse makes this a destination place for visitors and special occasions. The food and service is good. But for the best BBQ, there are better places. Admittedly they are harder to find and in less grand space.

BBQ, not in Cincinnati. You want BBQ, then stay in Texas, or Texas, or Texas. The only food you will find in Cincinnati are the mundane and bland. The only item on the menu worth eating is the homemade chips but you can get better crisps at your local market. The ribs are almost bare of meat and the sauce too sweet for any but the voracious bumble bee common in the area.

Don't miss eating here for the wonderful view of the river; the food is very good also. An old Cincinnati place to eat, Montgomery Inn is know for its ribs and Saratoga chips. My husband likes the fish. This is the place to take out of town guests; you can go to a ballgame and have dinner before or after.
