“The only way to travel from Kentucky to Cincinnati.”
Reviewed 20 July 2014

We moved from Tennessee to Cincinnati a month ago, and before then I had never even seen a ferry before. My daughter loves going to Florence Kentucky, and someone told us how much quicker it would be if we took the ferry. We tried it, loved it, and now take it several times per week. It's $8 for a round trip pass, and it saves around 20 miles of driving. We buy passes online that bring the price down to $3.50 per ride. The staff is always very friendly and helpful.

“Fun trip”
Reviewed 14 July 2014

This is a fun way to cross the river and enjoy a Sunday drive. You can cross over into Boone County Ky, and have lunch, then catch the ferry back to Ohio.

“Nice side trip.”
Reviewed 6 July 2014 via mobile

I did not even know that this existed until a family friend mentioned it. Pretty cool to do at least once. Only costs $5 per car one way, or $8 round trip. The ride over the river only takes 4 to 5 minutes. My 6 year old and I got out of the car and took some pictures and walked around a little. He loved it. Takes about 7 minutes from 71 going north, and about 10 minutes from 71 going South to get to the ferry landing. If you are not in a hurry, I would highly suggest.

“fun and historical”
Reviewed 21 June 2014

Short ride across the Ohio river at a ferry crossing that has been in operation since the early 1800's. $5 for one way or $8 for round trip pass. The kids loved it.
