This is a beautifully decorated restaurant in a trendy, upscale part of Cincinnati.

We had a reservation, and we four were seated promptly. I like that....hate to have a reservation, and be forced to sit at the bar waiting for a table....

We ordered drinks, wine and appetizers....server was good, and didn't rush us...pace was very good.

Our first courses were wedge salads (chopped up if you wish), French onion soup, and I had seared Ahi Tuna with a quinoa and edamame salad. Everything was excellent. For dinner both the other couple had the short rib Stroganoff, and they loved it. Despite the sour cream, it did not come out grey/while like lots of Stroganoffs. My wife had seared scallops, and I had roasted halibut with Miso sauce, coconut rice and Asian vegetables.....it was excellent. The fish was perfectly cooked.

Wine menu was good, and there was 25% off of bottled wines, despite it being a Friday night...a pleasant surprise.

We had dessert and coffee at home, so no report there.

If Trio was in my town, I would go here a lot....would really like to try lunch.

Trio in Blue Ash is a good place for dinner. I started with a cup of chicken noodle soup that was full or both chicken and noddles and very good. My dinner was a grill chicken Cobb salad. It was full of chicken, egg, avocado bacon and mixed greens.

What a treat to sit down on a hot summer evening at a beautiful restaurant with attentive service and such a wide variety of fresh dinner selections. I ordered the Mediterranean wood fired pIzza with a great side salad and citrus vinaigrette. The salad was fresh and a feast to the eyes...beautiful presentation! Then came the amazing pizza...topped from edge to edge with olives, red peppers, onions, artichokes, tomatoes and mushrooms...mouthwatering deliciousness! We could not pass up dessert...house made key lime pie...that was perfectly tart with a toasted merengue topping. Yum! Kona coffee was a great finale to our perfect meal.

The menu is not cheap, but not overly expensive. The food and service match up with the best restaurants in town.
