This is a quaint little restaurant in the heart of downtown Montgomery, Ohio. It is right across the street from the Montgomery Inn, and that is how we discovered it one day when we first moved to Montgomery. Having just left Boston, and yearning for some Italian food, we decided to give it a try. Since that chance encounter, we've been back many times. One night my boss was sitting right behind us, and he told me it was their favorite restaurant.
It is like you are back in the North End of Boston! The food is excellent, a real taste of Italy. The service is great, very good wine list, particularly the reds. I've never been disappointed with anything I have ordered. You can usually see Domenico at work, and the special touch is evident. I've had every veal dish, all great. My wife loves the salmon. Good and some interesting salads, like the Insalata Tricolore with mozzarella, tomato, artichoke, and of course multi colored olives!
You can find easy and free parking right behind the restaurant. Sometimes you can find a space in front on Montgomery Rd but that is quite rare.
