The Netherlands Hilton is a charming historical property in Cincinnati. This is a world class city and the Hilton is a world class property. They have been able to keep the charm through the years while making some updates. The dining experience is the hotel is amongst the finest in the world. Valet parking is still a challenge but they do a great job with limited room for drive through. This is a hotel you will want to go to over and over again. The location in the city gives you walking access to great places to dine. Excellent shopping and if your like the Reds or Bengals you can walk to the stadium(s).

Room Tip: Ask ahead of time for an upgrade.

Lastly please accept my apologies for your concerns regarding the accessibility of our valet parking. Beginning in the fall, the new Mabley Garage which will be housed in the adjoining (former) Carew Tower Mall space, will be opened providing us with excellent access to parking including valet and self parking options. What a fabulous find. This hotel doesn't feel like a chain hotel at all. The interior is gorgeous; very Art Deco. Location is terrific as you are within walking distance to restaurants, the River-walk, several sports stadiums and lots of shopping. Great choice if you are headed to Cincinnati.

I was at the hotel for a conference. The place is great. The staff is always friendly and easy going, the rooms were amazing. It gets 4 stars for these reasons: no clocks in the room and the dinner and dessert we had for our full day was not so good. The lunch was great but the dinner was tenderloin, chicken and some weird noodle flan. Oh yeah there was spinich as well. It was not filling and I would have been okay lunch again instead of the dinner. Also the dessert was small and fit for a toddler. A gentleman at our table offered to pay for ice cream or a different dessert for our table and we were told basically if we get it then what will they tell the others? The common and universal, if you get it then we have to give it to everyone and we don't want to. They then offered to give us more of the miniature desserts we had but we declined. There was one other issue as well regarding food. Overall I had a wonderful stay but the food was a slight issue. The hotel is definitely one if the higher ends as it is a Hilton hotel however the food should be like the staff, nice, welcoming and easy to recognize. I am sure they could have done something different and still stayed as exquisite as they are. At one point we asked one of the servers what the dessert was and she had to go find out although she had just served it to us. It just looked like mini desserts spread out on the plate with fruit here and there. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the rooms we were in for our conference were nice as well, cold but nice. I would stay here again for sure but would opt for another dinner choice if there for business.

I had the privilege of staying for the second time at the Netherland in July. My experience was beyond amazing!! The Netherland is a true gem in the Hilton crown. The Hotel itself is just beautiful with all of it's history, and the fact that they have gone the extra mile to keep the original elements of the Hotel is just amazing. Now I can't even begin to find the words to describe the impeccable customer service that the staff at the Netherland provides. They even helped me with planning out my running route along the beautiful riverfront and accommodated me with a workout machine in my room on the rainy days. They make every guest feel like a Queen/King. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown, walking distance to so many restaurants, ballparks, and all the Summer events that Cincinnati has planned for the downtown area. I have never stayed at any other Hotel where the staff, and the venue wowed me like at the Netherland. If I ever travel to Cincinnati again I will definitely stay at the Netherland again. You must stay here if you are in the area, you will not be disappointed one bit.

The Netherlands Plaza is located in the downtown area of Cincinnati. Yes, it's an older hotel but it has actually been designated as a National Historic Landmark. The Art Deco design and ceiling murals are just awesome.

Staff was totally attentive, rooms were clean and updated. Local attrations such as Football, Baseball museums and casinos are all within walking distance (ok, you might want comfortable walking shoes). Fountain Square is across the street where you can get the best Ice Cream in Cincinnati. Shopping is really convenient. This hotel has everything. As Hilton Diamond members, we were treated royally in the executive lounge - just a great experience that when we return to Cincinnati, we will do again!!!
