Worth the trip especially during Elk Rut season. The ranger guided hike in the morning makes this tourist hot spot a much more fulfilling stop. The is an interesting geological history to this area as well a a social background worth hearing about from the ranger. we walked from the bottom to the top and enjoyed the view once we got up there. Parking was difficult but we got a spot after waiting about 5 minutes.
