You can see the falls from several places along the north or south rim drives. The best place to experience the falls is from the brink. There is a large parking area, but plan to arrive early or later in the day, as the lot can be full during most of the day. There is a steep walk from the parking lot to the brink, about a 600 ft drop. The trail is paved and easy to navigate. Coming back up, you may have to stop a few times to catch your breath. At the brink, you can see and hear the power of the river as it rushes over. If you are able, I definitely recommend this stop.
