Very comfortable, short visit to a four-person tent (with electricity) at Curry Village. Impressed by the history of the Village and Yosemite, the strong ties that keep people coming back year after year, the friendly and knowledgeable rangers, and you cannot beat the nature all around. The disadvantage of staying just a day or two is that you may get closed out of some tours and activities, as you cannot necessarily reserve them ahead of time and they are not always available same day. If you are staying there 5-7 days, it's probably not a problem. The Village felt safe and there were many families.

It wasn't perfect, but overall a really great place to stay. Everything you need is nearby, including a bar, food options, adventure store, grocery, etc. Restrooms are common, and a bit of a walk. Great community vibe, and super friendly staff. We had some loud neighbors who sucked....bring ear plugs!

Room Tip: Bring ear plugs. These are TENT cabins, and you might have a loud neighbor. We did, and it was a d...

My husband and I recently stayed in one of the large tent-cabins at Curry Village with another couple we know. The four of us were quite comfortable in the large tent (1 double bed and 3 twin beds). The bathroom facilities and food services were all perfectly adequate, and the proximity to all the hiking trails and shuttle buses was excellent. We climbed Half Dome during our stay, and the trail began just a short 10-minute walk from Curry Village, which was very convenient because we left at 4 a.m., before the shuttle buses started running. I would definitely come back to Curry Village in the future. In fact, I hope to bring my three little kids! They had a terrific swimming pool and there were lots of families with kids enjoying Yosemite Valley from Curry village. It was a terrific experience all around. The only challenge was with the WiFi coverage, but we soon learned that very early in the morning or right in the middle of the day are good times to get online. Other than that, the bandwidth was overloaded and it was hard to get a signal from the designated lounge area.

Although the price was high for a stay in a tent, it was much more comfortable than I was expecting . The tent was well equipped and we all slept well. The setting was fantastic and it was worth the money to wake up in the valley and be ready to explore. Eating options were fine but a tip would be to go early especially in the evening as there were long lines. Shuttle buses were very efficient.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in the tent cabins at Curry Village. Ask for a unit that is heated as it has an outlet for electricity where you can get your phone charged! The bed and pillows were very comfortable for us. The air conditioned shuttle buses that came very 4 or 5 minutes were absolutely wonderful as the temp. was 95 when we were there, but the nights were cool. We had the best time. All of the visitors at Curry Village were really friendly, and the staff were helpful, as well as kind. I would just say go and enjoy yourself!

we rented 2 tends next to each other for 8 people, clean beds big bear safe lockers and showers and toilets with 3-5 min walking distance.
Breakfast was included but when you don`t eat much in the morning it is not worth it. you can eat up to 15 dollar. and it opens at 7 am. Sometimes you want to start earlier for a hiking trip.

Room Tip: away from the toilets and showers because to ground is gravel, it is noisy when people walk along yo...

The location can't be beat! The canvas tents are clean and the bathrooms/showers are also. As long as the guests in neighboring tents are courteous, it is a great experience. If you have loud, unhappy campers near you, as we did, it can be annoying. But the canvas tents are as close to camping as you can get without packing in all the gear.
