Two couples shared the Judy Ann suite, which as you will see came well recommended. We appreciated the amazing views of Zion peaks and plateaus and liked our final bill. We had not realized the very spacious bathroom was basically part of the bedroom (toilet is in its own small space with a door), so we had less privacy than imagined. If we were to return, we agreed we would want two separate units, traveling as two couples. The frig saved us $ on breakfast and hiking lunches and we loved being able to walk into the park so easily. Great hot tub for sore muscles and chatting with other visitors. Not least important--great sleeps on the sleeper sofa. Now I know what they CAN feel like!

Excellent hotel within walking distance of Zion Park, with a movie theatre, market, other shops and brew pub all on the premises. Nice pool and hot tub, and used the laundry room too which was very convenient for active families. The rooms are all suites with a full kitchen next to a living room, a HUGE bathroom, and nicely appointed king size bedroom. We had a family of four, so one slept on the pull out couch, and we received a roll away for the second kid (costs $10/day). 2 television (one in living room and one in Bedroom) was a nice feature (no fighting for the remotes). This is not cheap, but well worth it for a suite for a family, with the king sized beds very comfortable (roll aways and couch pull out are good for kids, but not really comfortable for adults). Lots of other families were around, so it seemed to be a popular place. Walked right over to the Zion National Park entrance to catch to park shuttle (parking within the Zion is a nightmare, need to take shuttle to get around). For $250/night, I highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: We got a room right in front of the pool, which was convenient The view of the Canyon are spectacula...

We stayed here for two nights recently (early May) and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is right next to the park entrance, which is convenient because you don't need to pay for parking at Zion. The hotel also gave us a 20% off coupon at the restaurant next door which was delicious. The rooms were clean, with comfortable beds. We would definitely recommend staying here!

We had a suite that was huge: bedroom with comfy queen bed, huge bathroom with tons of counter space, and a living & dining room with full kitchen (except for oven). Everything was clean & attractive. Balcony with 2 plastic deck chairs. Kitchen stocked with dishes, glassware, coffee maker, toaster, etc. Front desk folks were helpful & pleasant. Pool area attractive & overlooking the mountains of Zion. We used the small laundry room & hot tub at pool.

Stayed 3 nights & it was quiet every night. Pillows were good too!

And another big plus: you simply walk into Zion N. P. from the lodge area! We also enjoyed a dinner at the Zion Brew Pub on the lodge grounds. Would stay here again if we ever return!

Room Tip: We had a 2nd floor 'classic hillside suite' - didn't spring from Zion Mountain view &...

My family just returned from a weekend at the Cable Mountain Lodge and enjoyed it very much. It is walking distance into the park and tram stop, and can't be more convenient. The lodge itself was spic and span, very 'lodge' cozy with a very responsive staff. They responded to our request for an extra blanket and light bulb in under 10 minutes! Also found the location along the river very nice--a great place to saunter. I would recommend this location if you're traveling to Zion and want the niceties that camping out can't provide. :)

Room Tip: I think they are similar, but the rooms closest to the river are a bit quieter, I would imagine.

After driving right through the park after an early start from Monument Valley and even with all of the viewpoint stops we arrived to check in at 2pm. Advice on what to do and what to see from reception could not be faulted. Extremely helpful and knowledgable. Rooms were incredible. Web overlooked the pool on the second floor with a separate lounge, kitchen dining area, separate bathroom and well appointed bedroom. Wonderful decor in keeping with the forest and valley. Easy walk to the park and the shuttle bus service. Bar on site but beer only served with food. Gift shop with good quality gifts and a cinema too. Great pool and spa but it got busy as the hikers returned. Restaurants in town all good. Can't be faulted. Spotlessly clean and very well appointed.

This was our 3rd trip to Zion and our 3rd stay at Cable Mountain Lodge.

They location is perfect as its at the entrance to the Park so you simply walk over and avoid all the parking issues. First thing I need to say is that Management works very hard to insure that you have a great time and your room is perfect. We checked in Friday afternoon and they front counter staff made sure we were aware of all the park activities, restaurants in the area and showed us to the wall of brochures of several companies that offered horse riding, 4 wheel desert trips, etc.

Our room was a clean, sheets and towels fresh and new, the bathroom was spotless and the furniture was well maintained. Very often you get into a hotel/motel and once in bed the sheets are thin or sandpaper rough. These were perfect. One item that I need to mention is the room temperature control. Whatever level we set it for, it worked and the room was comfortable.

Getting settled the TV remote was not working. We were unloading the car and I swing by the front desk. I mentioned it to the staff and offered to replace the battery myself. No problem was the answer, "We will send over someone for you". They did. As I was making my last walk from the car to the room, One of the Maintenance Gentlemen was at the door ready to address our issues. Bingo, remote fixed, room comfy, firm mattress with plenty of pillows and Life is great!

The bathroom pressure in the shower was very strong. The curtain was one of those that bows out to give you plenty of room. The shower walls were marble like with a cutout for soap, razors and such. Plenty of hot water and good lighting.

There was a small fridge, microwave and 2 cup coffee maker in the room. All were in top shelf working order.

Cable Mountain is next to the Virgin River and there is nothing like first thing in the morning walking along the river, coffee in hand and Thanking God for your surroundings.

Good people run this Lodge and truly want to make sure you are satisfied.

We were and will be coming back next year for our 4th trip.
